“We find this motel so good. We use it every time we fly out. The early morning shuttle is a great bonus too. The rooms are clean tidy nd very comfortable. Jeff nd staff are great hosts nothings a bother..We will def continue to use this motel.”

“Perfect location, opposite to shopping centre and plenty restaurants are in walking distance. Room was bit small but worked find for us as it got spa too. Staff was really friendly. Place was nice and clean. Highly recommended.”

“Have been here a couple of times for a drink and most recently a meal. The staff behind the bar are friendly and my meal (chicken salad) was restaurant quality and delicious. Will definitely return.”

“Such great customer service. They replaced our sheets, washed the dishes and left new towels for us every day. The communication was also clear and fast. Even though it is near a main road the traffic was light in the evenings and the rooms have double glazing, so I was able to get a great sleep. The heater was left on before we arrived so the room was nice and warm. Also really competitive pricing. Thanks!!!”

“Oh my goodness thank you for the great motel, we have been looking for a place we can regularly book when we come to Christchurch and after trying many different options it feels like we have find a home away from home. Amazing customer service, made to feel so welcome from moment the booking was made we felt welcome, and to arrive to be greeted by a smiling and welcoming face and going out of his way to make changes to accommodate our changes. I felt relaxed, appreciated all the small touches, such as extras bathroom products in the cupboard. Just outstanding, I know where we will be coming for future appointments. Thanks for the awesome service.”

“Arrived in a monsoon and was soaked. Owner (David?) gave me a towel and fetched a bigger umbrella for me, so I could get to the supermarket without getting another soaking. He was so kind and thoughtful with a great sense of humour. I often saw him talking to the guests. The room was fabulous value for money. Big comfy bed, walk in wet room/shower with seat and handrail if needed. Little kitchen area with kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Nice wardrobe and two bedside tables with drawers. Really cosy. Room was serviced everyday which I didn't expect either....really excellent service. It's about a 20-30min walk to shopping centre and botanical gardens etc. Buses run there too. Supermarket 5min walk away. I'll defo stay here again!!!!”

“Myself and two family members came to stay in November for surgery. The dates changed from a few nights, to a week, then to 2 weeks. Rose was incredibly accommodating, she made us feel like we were at home. Rose is an Incredibly beautiful person and me and my family would return there anytime we go back to Christchurch. Rooms are dated, but still nice and very clean, lots of heaters for winter, rooms were very large with full kitchen. Absolutely worth 5stars, lovely owners who genuinely appreciate and go out of their way for their guests”

“Spotlessly Clean, comfortable and restful unit. The shower has a great pressure and was sooo relaxing after a day of travelling. We had a two bedroom unit which was spacious enough to accommodate a 3 yr old running about. Office staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.”

“We stayed here twice recently on our way in and out of NZ. The service was amazing. Each person we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The woman who works the night shift and does the shuttle runs in particular was incredible. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There’s an onsite restaurant and playground. The shuttle service was very much appreciated as we had one of the last flights in and first flights out. We would definitely stay here again.”

“What a wee gem. The owners are lovely and make you feel so welcome. The trees all but hide the traffic, sight and sound. The service station is near for snacks and morning coffee. The room is clean and the birds are chirping. It’ll be the first place I’ll book next time I’m in town.”

“I highly recommend Ashleigh Court Motel in Christchurch. It is a gem. The room and bed were very comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped with enough glasses, mugs and crockery. There was a great shower with really hot water and good quality towels. It is in such a quiet, serene setting with lots of trees and birds, so close to Mona Vale and Hagley Park as well as Riccarton Shopping Mall so is super convenient! The new owner was very helpful and kind. We were there at Christmas and the new owners treated us to lovely Christmas lights and a sweet treat for the family which was so special. Thanks Lulu - we will be back!”
