“Great location, with car parking included. Very accommodating staff let us park after check out in the car park until we had to leave to catch ferry at 11 am. This allowed us to explore on foot. The room was warm, comfortable and quiet with nice views.”

The standout feature of this place is Vishal, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He’s the go-to person if you have any questions or concerns — his hospitality truly made our stay comfortable. The motel itself is neat, clean, cozy, and very quiet — perfect for a good night’s rest. “I get the impression that most people stay here for a night or couple of nights because of it's close proximity to the airport. We stayed for 12 nights, and it was ideal for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, we received complimentary drinks on arrival, a very nice touch. The rooms are dated, but clean. I personally would have preferred a smaller bathroom and then a wardrobe, but as I said previously, most people probably only book for a short stay and don't need a wardrobe. What this place lacks in style it more than makes up for in location, we had a beautiful view of the sea and went to sleep at night with the waves crashing on the beach, and in spite of it being close to the airport, the aircraft noise didn't really bother us, but maybe that's because we spent 25 years living close to a major airport. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation with no frills, I would highly recommend.”

“Motel 22 is a clean and tidy place to stay in Wellington. The rooms are well-maintained, and I have never experienced such great service or quality accommodations at any other motel in the area. “I was coming down for industry training and assessments, and the location of my classes was in an area that didn't have any accommodation close. I called the motel, and Jasbir was very accommodating to my needs as I was arriving after reception hours. Jasbir made the process so seamless. I was even offered a cheaper rate for a room that met all my needs. Room was clean, with a nice balcony, and bonus I had a kitchenette to cook my meals. I will be using AAA Mana Motel when my staff come down to Wellington for training. Thank you AAA Mana Motel.”

“have stayed here twice now, and its now my go too. the staff are friendly, the rooms are a great size and have everything you need, Easy check in, nothing is a drama. Its walkable to everything, lower hutt shops, station village pub. close to motorway, even tho you dont hear it, theres no staff walking round, its quiet, My daughter who is 9 loves it. We have booked 1 bedroom apartment twice, it feels very homely. the only thing bad i could say is maybe a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness, but that is me OCD, its very tidy overall.”

“I had 4 of my cats stay at Hillcrest for 18 days. They loved it, when they came back you could tell they had been well looked after and brushed. Would highly recommend sending your fur babies here.”

“We spent a night at the motel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was an affordable and comfortable option. Spare blankets were available,the sheets were of a good quality and the room was warm. We slept peacefully and I love the country setting. A nice swimming pool is available which would be fun to use in the warmer months. It was a great location for us being near the Cape Palliser Lighthouse,the Pinnacles and Lake Ferry. The hosts were friendly and told us about things we could see and do. Hopefully we can return next year!”

“Highly recommend staying at Sojourn Apartment Hotel Riddiford. We were very impressed with the amenities, location, cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff that we dealt with during our stay. We stayed in the Petite Double internal room, and this particular Petite Double has a table and chairs set which was great for getting some remote work done on the trip. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed and the Nespresso machine was definitely one of my favourite features. The internal room was very quiet, and the location was perfect, right opposite Wellington Hospital, with a bus stop right outside making for easy access around the city. We would definitely love to stay again.”

“Our company sends people to Wellington most months. We find Terrace Villas the most practical place to stay. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. We are easily able to conduct our business from the apartments and the management is ready to help with anything we need - we often hold meetings with our clients and they find the surroundings pleasant and relaxed.
