Such a beautiful quiet place a little hidden gem, the outdoor area is peaceful and beautiful wheelchair accessible and even pet friendly! 2nd time staying here will definitely be back again :)
Absolutely awesome motel , plenty of room & a quiet place. Super clean & comfortable beds. Play ground for kids & out front of units a bbq area would be fantastic in summer. Would definitely stay again.
Found the rooms very clean and well maintained, check in was easy and the location was incredibly peaceful. Might be a little different when Rugby season is in full swing. We didn't require any type of servicing for the room whilst we were there so very hard to mention the service. Staff we met were very pleasant and friendly. Would most definitely stay there again. Definitely need some form of transport whilst staying there as the shops and other amenities weren't that close, The peacefulness makes up for it though.
This is our go to when staying in Christchurch. With young kids, they are safe because when you open your front door you are in a secure courtyard, not right into the car park. Across the street there is also an awesome playground. The rooms are large and clean. The courtyard has aplenty of space, picnic tables and a BBQ. Perfect for family groups or sports teams.
My sister and I stayed 3 nights here recently. The outlook from the room was lovely and well maintained. It was quiet and reasonably priced. The units resembled cabins more than a motel. Also with a motel the rooms are serviced which was not the case here. The cleaners were visibly cleaning rooms but only as people left. I messaged when we arrived that the couch was unusable as sunken in but had no response. It seemed that once we paid the money in advance as requested (without seeing the unit) there was no further contact. The shower was broken. It was impossible to have a warm shower, only cold or piping hot as the lever didn't operate as it should and the dial for temperature was loose and just went around and around. Disappointing especially when there for three days and nights. We will not be staying here again. Ps..I see the showers are mentioned in a few of the reviews. Some basic maintenance is much needed.
Such an amazing place to stay. Clean, tidy and spacious. The plus factor is you can have your pet with you. Polite and friendly staff. A shared courtyard area with bbqs and seating. Compact kitchenette with all you will need for basic cooking. Close to food takeaways and shopping centres. I will certainly stay again when I am in ChCh.
Our 2bed unit was clean and spacious with comfy beds and lovely linen. The motel is in a great central location and so quiet!
The worst service I have ever experienced. When leaving an Airbnb review about my stay they confused my unit with someone else's and left a bad review that was totally inaccurate. After raising this with them, they offered to provide evidence, which they never did. I chased them up for weeks and they ghosted me. They also left the review on the last possible day so there was no time for me to respond. Also the shower was blocked and the flooring of the bathroom was blistering. Ugh.
Great accomodation and 4.5km away from cbd. It is q quiet place as its located in the park. The footclub own the motel and on call staff lives less than 5mins away. Great price for a 2 bedroom accomodation. Clean tidy, and modern toilet. Rooms are a good size. Lounge is spacious with a sofa bed as well. Has skysports channels and good wifi connection. Has an outdoor bbq (but we havent used it). Will recommend to anyone. Also good for family as there is a playground near for the kids if just staying in.
This was a great wee spot for myself my partner mother and two children. The price was the cheapest and for what it was worth the rooms were so clean and fresh. The location was great just around the corner from pretty much every where that we wanted to go. The on call staff was very helpful as we had a wee problem with our shower but it was fixed right away with no hassle. I highly recommend this place and probably will come back next time we are in town.
