“Extremely happy with my stay. Lovely warm comfortable unit at an affordable price. Warm rooms, comfortable bed and cosy cushions. Lovely hot shower with great water pressure, fully equipped kitchen. Great location, host was very friendly polite and welcoming. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and pride put into the entire property. Garage parking gave me peace of mind knowing my vehicle was safe and to top it off pet friendly so my travel companion was welcomed as much as I was which made my over all experience exceed my expectations. Will recommend and return if ever in the area again.”

“Huge room, we got a free upgrade! Totally gorgeous inside. The owner was so nice and gave us free chocolate for Christmas. Really amazing overall, love it. Felt modern, but rustic.”

“I saw it as/in passing to go to Salvation Army opportunity shop in Mosgiel. Two opp shops at least here. Wanted a place to stay the night, but could've ventured back home. Drove back after visiting Mosgiel's opp shops. Also getting sushi lunch there. Drove up, met reception, had a look at the room available, asked the price, then said "I'll take it." Later upon my return, I settled in and can report well worth staying. The room reaches my expectations, even the jug was clean, some places jug has rust inside! Thank you to Regency Motels Mosgiel. (In closing, HeHe, I often wonder with these reviews, what it would be like, if the host was to write a review about---ME!? And other guests report of me, same. Maybe Neighbours of my unit might be writing noisy night, as neighbour was snoring, other than that, the resort was superb). Regards Dcuzbromatov.”

“Only 3 blocks to town on the level. We had upstairs unit, nice and quiet. Decor smart and in very good condition very smart. Comfy bed. Bathroom great. Good cooking facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. A lift to take you to the 1st floor. Manager made us feel very welcome upon arrival and we had off street parking. I wold stay again. Cafe next door makes excellent coffee and cinnamon scrolls and pies. Other food also looked good.”

“They were absolutely amazing! We had a large group and they were incredible to all of us. I would 100% stay at the Commodore if I were to come back to Dunedin. Rooms were super clean, spacious, and lots of amenities. Incredibly happy. Super close to downtown, the botanical gardens, and the grocery store. I felt super safe here at the hotel as well.”

“Very good central location. Tidy room, no complaints or concerns. We arrived on a cold day and it was a nice touch to discover the room was warm with the heater already on. Property is on a steep hillside, so may present some challenges for those with mobility issues. A very pleasant stay.”

“We only stayed one night, were wishing we had booked for longer! Was a neat tidy unit, heater was on when we got there which was nice......we were late with our arrival and they couldn't have been more understanding. Rural location, really quiet, no light coming into room at night and pet friendly!! Cutest receptionist ever, thank you Mr Darcy. Would happily go back and recommend.”

“Quiet, despite being on the main road. Enjoyed walking the owners dog. We were there to witness a court case from the public gallery. We didn't know how long we would be there. The owners were flexible about the number of nights that we needed to stay. They would have allowed us to bring our cockatiel if we hadn't find a carer for him.”

We arrived after a long day of travel and when we got into our room, we were so pleased with the cleanliness and the room and the fact that the heating was turned before we entered our room, so as to ensure we had a warm & comfortable room on the chilly night. “Spacious, well appointed apartment with kitchenette and large bathroom. Lounge/bedroom very generously proportioned. Exterior looks a bit worn but don't let that put you off. The interior is lovely and the beds comfortable. Despite being almost in the very centre of the city, it was amazingly quiet at night.”

“This motel pacifically is really good because Lauren and Peter are so nice.The unit was a bit small well were 9 people but my aunty got a unit for her.but hey it was really fun to see them and talk to them.Location is a bit far away from school but it was worth it. “This small motel was perfect for our needs. The staff were so kind and helpful. We couldn't arrive in reception hours but they were super okay with sorting it. The room was neat and had everything we needed. Heater was wonderful and we could adjust temperature easily. It was the cleanest basic motel we have stayed in when we have visited Dunedin. WiFi was a bit on and off in our room. Location was excellent. An easy flat walk into main area of town if you like to walk or a quick drive. Dairy's close. Off street parking, some spots better than others. Loved the kitchenette. (Airfryer was great). Everything you need. Laundry available. Wished we could of stayed longer. Thanks for the lovely stay.”
