   There are more great things about this hotel other than proximity to the airport. After travelling around NZ for 3 weeks, I found this hotel to understand what travellers need in a short stay - esp if you prefer to cook/heat meals. They provided a sharp knife, a breadboard, scissors, a vege peeler as well as normal cutlery. The long bathroom bench made spreading out of toiletries easy, the long bench in the room allowed space to open our one suitcase - easy access to clothes etc. The freezer in the standard hotel fridge did not have built-up ice/frost - there are many that do not bother defrosting the freezer compartment. The room was clean, tidy and parking was easy. Details make the stay excellent rather than just good. Thank you Airways. Highly recommended.

   Lovely motel. Clean and staff were exceptional. A little dated and warn in some places but perfect for an overnight before flying from Christchurch. The shuttle service made our stay stress free and cost was reasonable. Highly recommended.

   We have stayed at Airways Motel several times over the years and have always found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for us to visit with relatives who live closeby, and close to the airport as a start for our New Zealand adventures. And we always take advantage of the excellent shuttle service. Beds are comfortable and rooms always very clean. Have recommended to family and friends in the past and happy to do so again.

   Great service, very friendly staff. Conveniently located near airport with flexible shuttle service, also to our campervan pickup. Beds were super comfy. The rooms could just do with sheer curtain for privacy during the day.

   We find this motel so good. We use it every time we fly out. The early morning shuttle is a great bonus too. The rooms are clean tidy nd very comfortable. Jeff nd staff are great hosts nothings a bother..We will def continue to use this motel.
