The owner Geoff and his staff are one of kind they are so helpful and polite this motel is my recommendation for all my followers
Enjoyed staying here, stayed in the family room, was a very cosy home away from home, even had a bath, also very friendly staff who gave us a good deal.
We stayed in the family room for four nights. We also stayed in a smaller unit for several nights a week earlier. The owner was a nice guy you could talk to. Any issues were dealt with immediately. The location was handy to a supermarket and to a shopping centre. The Avon river ran just beside the motel which was great for going for a pleasant walk. The family room toilet was a squeeze to get into and shut the door. Apart from that it was value for money.
It's basic, clean and functional.

Stayed here for sisters 80th birthday at Woolston Club. Fabulous place to stay, Awesome Proprietor and Staff. Close to shopping amenities..hop skip n jump literally!! Our Whaanau Motel now...A+++++ thanks for the fabulous stay xx Room 2 Fredericks Whaanau
Owner is wonderful, friendly and helpful. Staff have done a marvelous job on cleaning. Most rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone.
Very clean, very comfortable and excellent rates. Free (and good) WiFi. However the outstanding features were the friendliness and hospitality of the owner and the housekeeping staff - it simply could not have been better. We stayed for just over 5 weeks (COVID level 4) and enjoyed every minute so much that we really did not want to leave. We will be back.
