The honeymoon suite is awesome, has spa in room. But that was over 20 years ago! Rangiora has changed a lot since then. Used to be the only motel in town, 20+ years ago. LoL. On main drag into rangiora.
A hard pass. NOT pet friendly even though sites say it is. Host unnecessarily rude. Wallpapers peeling and missing. Rotten wood in shower. Uncomfortable bed and lumpy pillows. Not a pleasant stay.
Owners are working hard to renovate the rooms. Clean and airy and in that respect very good value for money. Not flash but very functional. The hosts are lovely people. Also the motel was within walking distance of the Brook Bar. The food there is absolutely superb. Was recommended by Aaron at the motel and what a great recommendation it was.
I enjoyed my stay at Lilybrook Motel, Rangiora. The owners are friendly and I felt welcomed. The studio room I stayed in was clean, warm and a home away from home. The hairdryer works very well and the shower had excellent pressure. It was an excellent price. I slept well in the comfortable bed. I recommend staying at Lilybrook Motel if you come to Rangiora.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at some top motels/hotels around the world and Lilybrook motels at up with the best of them it maybe a bit out dated but it’s very clean and tidy & very comfortable , close to city centre Aaron and Kirsty are super friendly and helpful would recommend to any coming to Rangoria to stay here it’s worth it
Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent booking and check in process Room was great. Large room was very large with full kitchen.
Very accommodating people. Planned to stay one and ended up being there for four. Laundry is reasonably priced though I wish it had prices on display instead of just guessing. Loved the showers. Spa bath in RM 1 looked awesome though we were far too tired to try it out.
Spotlessly Clean, comfortable and restful unit. The shower has a great pressure and was sooo relaxing after a day of travelling. We had a two bedroom unit which was spacious enough to accommodate a 3 yr old running about. Office staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
