   Stayed here for just the one night and it was perfectly acceptable. We arrived just after 2 for checkin and the desk was unmanned. When i finally found someone they told me that the rooms are ready.....so don't attempt to book in early! It was surprisingly quiet given that it’s right next to a busy road, but apart from the occasional truck i heard nothing at all of the road. The bed was way too soft for my personal liking; however my partner loved it. A spotlessly clean toilet and shower, and the shower had fantastic pressure, but did run a bit randomly hot/cold. Just be aware, (if all the bathrooms are like ours), that if you’re tall or long legged, it’s going to be a tight squeeze when using the loo! For the money paid it was a perfectly fine motel.

   We stayed at 101 Stars early January for four nights, there were 4 of us staying and we were given a room that had a very large L shaped leather lounge suite which was such a pleasant surprise, thank you so much!! The lounge area was super comfortable and a great size with loads of windows and even an outdoor deck area to sit out on ( it would be nice to have a table and chairs out there). There were 2 separate bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 singles, which were both very comfortable. The kitchenette was great also with everything you need. Loved how there was a separate toilet and bathroom, although these are small they are modern and very clean. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. One thing was we kind of expected the room to be serviced a lot more than just the rubbish cleared and new towels placed in the room each day, especially with the price you pay. Otherwise, everything was really good. Another thing is perhaps put a full-length mirror in each room. That would be awesome. The area is industrial and residential so there is a bit of surrounding noise as the busy Blenheim road is right there, but the room we got was great, not much road sound, except for noisy neighbors at odd times but only heard them if the windows were open. It's awesome that it's a short drive to shopping malls and good restaurants/cafes. There is plenty of car parking. Would recommend staying here, the owners are really lovely and we will stay again, especially in that lovely large room.

   Clean and comfortable unit, well suited for 4 adults. The location is handy to all of Christchurch main attractions and a short drive to the CBD. 101 Stars is also in close proximity to Riccarton Mall, Tower Junction and the Racetrack. Being on Blenheim Road there is a little traffic noise at night, but it did not bother us.

   The room is super clean, tidy and comfort. The owner must put lots of efforts on keeping the room and facilities clean, especially the bathroom. The shower pressure is prefect too.

   Stayed here just one night. The room was clean, bed comfortable, good water pressure and basic cooking facilities available (2 element hob and microwave) and fridge which suited us. Good price and handy location. The only downside, was our room fronted Blenheim Road with a lot of road noise. Ear plugs would be helpful especially if you are a light sleeper.

   Great rooms and service from the staff. Has everything you need for an easy stay. Unfortunately the road noise is constant throughout the night. Apart from that extremely happy with the motel
