   If you are holidaying in Christchurch with plans to tour the CBD, this spot is perfect. Everything is a walk across the road. We checked in late, no problem. I added a night prior to my booked stay with minimal notice, no problem. The room was clean and spacious, and the place was quiet at night. (Room 14. It is the last unit on the second floor, almost on top of reception. Only one neighbour) The spa bath was very relaxing and well worth the extra cost. The only cons would be parking, and this is not on the motel. They have enough parks for each unit. It’s the Parker’s. It only takes one bad driver to park crooked and everyone is forced crooked. Some tight squeezes, for those with big rentals. Try get settled in close to check in, not close to night time. Another con would be the spa jet fittings kept shooting off when the spa was turned on. These pop straight back on, but it was very annoying. Other than that, it’s a solid stay. Extra towels under bathroom sink. Hair dryer and extra toilet roll in bathroom draw. The bed is fitted with heater blankets. There’s a wall mounted heater to heat the room. The motel is on a one way street, stay in the lane closest to the footpath. The motels driveway is inside a set of lights. So very hard to miss with this knowledge.

   We stayed at the Bellano for 2 nights and we loved it there! The room was really spacious and had a Jacuzzi tub and lovely Italian coffee to brew. The location is central and within 25 minutes walk you can get to town on foot enjoying some picturesque streets. The property manager and his wife were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room has all what you need for a good night sleep including comfy bed and pillows. Small kitchenette also available with basic cutlery, dishes, hob, oven, microwave and mini bar. Would recommend!

   Perfect gateway for your Christchurch visits. It is near the centre, but also easy to reach. The rooms are very clean and big. The owners are kind and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

   Not what I was expecting. Kitchenette was minimal without a hotplate nor hob. WiFi speed was poor. Finally we never received enough towels.

   Amazing service, friendly staff. They replaced towels every day and serviced the room each day as well. Spa bath was perfect after a long day. Only down side was that there was construction on site.

   We have driven from Queenstown and so far this is the best Motel we have stayed in. It was cheaper and cleaner and had more room. It's just brilliant. Washing facilities available. Close to some great restaurants. We will be back.

   The Bellano motel was really well priced, spacious and clean. The staff there are very friendly and inviting, beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is awesome. Great night sleep!
