Very well maintained super convenient hotel close to the airport with free shuttle any time you need it. The room is equipped with microwave and cook top and all utensils you may need. Surpassed expectations.
The hotel itself is well located and the restaurant’s food is excellent. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you really need to and can’t find anything else at the last minute. The room leaves a lot to be desired, and I believe they need to renovate everything. The bathroom is very old, and the shower is quite bad. I’m not someone who cares about luxury or anything fancy in a hotel, but in my opinion, at the very least, the shower should be clean and the space should allow you to relax and enjoy a good bath. The cleanliness of the room also left something to be desired. There was an unpleasant odor, as if the place had been closed up for months. The fridge in my unit had black tape on the door to act as “shelves,” since the original dividers were no longer there. Overall, everyone who assisted us—from the reception staff during check-in to the restaurant team—was very attentive and helpful. They just really need to improve the rooms and the cleanliness. I would give 2.5 star
Collected us at short notice. And arranged a drop off for us as well well after check out time. Staff were super friendly. Room was ultra clean and serviced daily. Portacot was welcome! Amazingly large tv for watching the cricket. Restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast. Can recommend the mushrooms on toast! Thanks for a great stay guys. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed here twice recently on our way in and out of NZ. The service was amazing. Each person we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The woman who works the night shift and does the shuttle runs in particular was incredible. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There’s an onsite restaurant and playground. The shuttle service was very much appreciated as we had one of the last flights in and first flights out. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent bed, A BATH. Instructions needed for chrome cast or install Sky! Restaurant food was very good. All staff were friendly and helpful. Quick and easy access to the airport.
We arrived at the airport at 2 am. Shuttle was waiting. Got to room, heaters were on , curtains pulled and milk in the fridge. Perfect! Was exactly what we needed. Lovely, friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Very recommended for those who has very early flight. Our flight is 6 am so we need transportation on 4 am. Hotel provided the shuttle. Very convenient. Family Room is spacious. Complete kitchen even we dont use it. Would come here again if we come to Christchurch.
We booked the Economy Studio and it was so much bigger than expected. We had 2 bedrooms with space for 2 people each and our bed and the couch was comfortable. Pretty clean, but I had a stain on my pillow (see picture) & there was one on the blanket as well (seemed to not be a fresh one though). The remote could use some fixing or a replacement as well. You could not actively lock the door from the inside (nobody could get in from the outside but we would have liked to be able to lock it properly to feel more safe). We checked in for an Airport Shuttle, which was easy & free to access - huge advantage.
Would have rated higher as the rooms are great, especially the family suites (didn’t see the executive suites). Was disappointed the bar was shut when I arrived (21:30). The free shuttle service to the airport is handy (they lose points though as they weren’t overly busy the next day and I was quoted $20 to go two miles - within the airport grounds - when Uber asked $10 for the same journey and the previous night I was told it would be free as it was out of season), also the check out was a little chaotic as there was only one person on and the phone was constantly off the hook and initially I was nearly charged twice for breakfast and food I had on the room. Glad I checked! All that aside the bed was so soft and comfortable and warm. Shower great and very handy fridge, freezer, cooker facilities plus tvs and alarm clocks. Curtains also great black out. Would stay again if the check out had been better, plus rated higher too (they also lose points as the kitchen bins hadn’t been emptied so every time I opened the landfill / compost bin i was met by rotting baby food stench from the previous guests and by the time I left the recycling bin was overflowing. That and a used flannel was in the bathroom. So overall a good night’s sleep and a pleasant pickup from the airport at door 8 (the airport signs are very confusing - no fault of the motel!) but small issues with cleanliness and check out. Oh and breakfast was delicious. Food and drink not too expensive either from the bar.
