   Perfect location, opposite to shopping centre and plenty restaurants are in walking distance. Room was bit small but worked find for us as it got spa too. Staff was really friendly. Place was nice and clean. Highly recommended.

   We stayed 2 days but found ants in bathroom and kitchen breadcrumbs in draws toaster not emptied black mold in room , 23 , sheets felt damp on first night , we asked to change sheets but we were called racist by the owner or manager , the most disgusting place and people that I have ever dealt with, room so dark it's not a motel but a cave with bad management, id report to council for building wof to be checked, plus wet towels left in bathroom and when asked for clean ones we got told hang then out to dry , not our problem

   We had Room 23, with a very small window, it was very dark and small, and smelt damp, The light had to be on during the day, with no natural light coming in. Our relatives who were also staying at the same time had bigger lighter rooms, The room our relatives had upstairs had Ants in the bathroom. If we stayed again we would definitely ask to see the room first.

   Excellent service from friendly helpful staff. Functional room with beautiful and clean bathroom with spa bath. Very handy to shopping mall and main road with bus services. Wish we had known about airport pick up service before arriving late at night. Would definately stay again.

   Unfortunately their website was down, along with their 0800 PH# but I called the landline and the customer service person was very helpful and acknowledged their IT issues were temporary. Room was nice. Good, central location across the road from Riccarton Mall.

   I would highly recommend this motel. The owners are lovely, the room was very clean and tidy and even though our room was on the road side we never heard the traffic. The price was excellent, the room was warm and the kitchen was great. Being across the road from the mall was a plus. Keep up the great work and your friendly attitudes.

   My husband and I stayed at the Kauri Motel on Riccarton very recently. A young couple with 2 delightful children were our hosts. And what lovely hosts they were too. It was particularly cold and on our arrival our room was already made nice and warm for us. Very clean and tasteful decor in the room. Very local to Riccarton Mall(walking distance) too. Rooms were very reasonable in price also. Would highly recommend & will be returning to this very convenient location, if not just for the lovely hosts.

   Good room. Had Air-conditioning, comfortable bed. Shower and service was good. The room was warm and clean. Bed was comfy. I would return. I left something in the room and it was returned to me. Also they were very friendly and provided great service.
