“Came with my sister, partner and BIL as a stop over for Hobbiton, and honestly loved staying here. The lady that runs the place was so incredibly kind and hospitable, the rooms were super spacious, clean and comfy, and we were so close to where we needed to be”

“This is a lovely motel. It is clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. It is very close to Waikato hospital making it perfect if you have family there. We had the 2 bedroom unit and it was perfect for our whānau of mixed ages - grandmother, daughter and a 15and 4 year old. I highly recommend this motel.”

“The unit is better than expected. This is like home away from home, it is so well equipped. The unit has obviously been refurbished. Very clean, tidy, and so handy to the hospital. Just bring earplugs if you're not used to traffic noise.”

“Within 700 m walk of many restaurants and cafes. Rooms were large well appointed and beds were comfortable and appliances new . Cleanliness exceptional. Would recommend and stay again ourselves if visiting. Lovely country town and people.”

“We had a lovely stay at the motel, the owners were soo kind and let us fill up water in the van even after we had checked out. The rooms (family and double) were cosy, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and free breakfast cereals. We'd definitely stay again.”

The location is convenient and easy to find, and the experience was very much in line with what we’ve come to expect from other Bella Vista hotels — consistent, reliable, and well-presented. The room was clean and offered a good amount of space, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and hassle-free. We also appreciated that the hotel is wheelchair accessible, which adds to the overall ease of access and comfort. The hosts were warm and friendly, adding a personal touch to the stay. All in all, a solid choice for a short or longer visit to Hamilton.”

“This place is pretty much bang on perfect. Friendly service from the team, very comfy rooms and massive as swimming pool. My only gripe, is that wifi reception in the room is patchy. Did quite often drop out.”

“Cheap basic campground. Mostly permanent residents, all very friendly. Cute little natural hot pool, and swimming pool looks good too, but only open in summer.”

“Don't let outside of the front building put you off. Our room was clean and quite large for what we paid for it was 130 per night and had a great city view! Manger was super friendly and the location is super handy to town. If your on a budget i recommend this motel!”

“What a gem! The staff is so kind and friendly, and it’s really clean. The location couldn’t be better, we enjoyed the peacefulness and the sunsets (amazing). Just outside of town with great views of the Waikato. The pool is a sweet treat, too! Bonus! They even had a space to plug in an EV! I hope more EV users find this lovely location.
