The gentleman at the desk was very kind and recommended the botanical gardens for something to due as the gondola was closed due to the winds. The rooms were clean and nice.
A lovely dog friendly motel close to Chch hospital. Genial hosts for whom nothing is a problem.
Very good friendly person at front desk, very polite and helpful. Very good place and value for many. Well kept and tidy place and rooms. The service station next door was very handy! I highly recommend this motel for personal or work - if you looking for value for your $$$
The owners are so lovely and chatty, made us feel super comfortable, especially when their website had a bit of a glitch with our booking. Super close to everything and has all the basics. Also, whoever cleans the bathrooms deserves an award because our shower was literally sparkling.
What a wee gem. The owners are lovely and make you feel so welcome. The trees all but hide the traffic, sight and sound. The service station is near for snacks and morning coffee. The room is clean and the birds are chirping. It’ll be the first place I’ll book next time I’m in town.

Great value motel. Rooms are a bit worn but can't complain due to excellent tariffs. Great location with free off-street parking.
Friendly helpful staff. Units exceptionally clean and fresh. Good sheets and comfy bed. Can leave a window open for fresh air. Privacy curtains.
I love this Motel such a warm atmosphere and kev and june are brilliant people nice to have a dog there too it makes for a very warm and welcoming family vibe clean rooms and just enough for what I required great location and always available to help visitors with all their needs I highly recommend this place always the place I choose when im down in christchurch wont stay anywherelse
A really lovely, clean motel with five star service. Owners very friendly and approachable. Units have everything needed for a convenient, pleasant stay. Our second visit and we will be back. Highly recommended.
