“Absolutely beautiful studio. Our room was impeccable and the view was gorgeous. My only comment for Keith is that a new bed in Apt 1 is a necessity. It’s on its last legs. Other than that the apartment is perfect. Then management is responsive and accommodating. I’d give 6 stars if not for the bed.”

“John was an excellent host and the place was incredible. The views were absolutely epic and we enjoyed visiting the beach and dunes. If you’re looking for a remote area to stay, this is it. It is about an hour from Auckland. I recommend visiting Rotorua, as well as PIha beach if you have the time. So awesome. I’ll probably never be back because I live 16 hours away via airplane but the memories I had were once in a lifetime. Thanks John, I hope to see you one day again. “Club K9 has been an absolute lifesaver for our family and our dog, Eva. From the moment we drop her off, she’s greeted with so much love and enthusiasm that it’s clear how much the team genuinely cares about the dogs in their care. Eva always comes home happy, tired (in the best way) and well-cared for, which tells us she’s had a fantastic day. The staff are professional and friendly, and we also love how attentive they are to Eva’s individual needs, ensuring she’s comfortable and thriving during her visits.”

“Awesome experience! Amazing locations with incredible views and very close by to all the main attractions of the island - but you definitely do need a car. Wood burning stove outside to keep you toasty in the evening and super fun wild / camping weekend! Charlie was absolutely delightful and so helpful! Would definitely recommend this place!”

“This Bed & Breakfast is simply amazing. Leonie, the owner is the kind of person that will go over and above to make sure that you are comfortable during your stay at Amberwood. I recently got married and had half a dozen guests from overseas stay at her property, and Leonie treated them all like her own family. One of our guests was unwell during her stay, and Leonie even went to the Chemist in the middle of the night to buy some much needed medication. Her breakfasts are epic, and her kindness is immeasurable. This B & B is highly recommended:)”

“We went to the Cafe for lunch. It was quiet however speaking to the staff it gets very busy during the weekend. The food was excellent and the service great. A lovely place for lunch if you’re looking for beautiful surroundings and plenty of room to relax.”

“The Hunting Lodge is such a beautiful wedding venue. As a wedding photographer, I always love shooting here. The grounds are stunning year-round, and the sunsets over the vineyards are next level. There are several ceremony options, including right at the edge of the vines or beside the iconic Barn. I also love the vintage caravan bar, it adds such a fun, relaxed energy and looks amazing in photos! With their in-house wine, relaxed vibe, and versatile indoor-outdoor flow, The Hunting Lodge is one of the best winery venues in Auckland :)”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Quest Carlaw Park Apartment Hotel! The staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and I appreciated how well everything was maintained. Indoor parking was super convenient and easily accessible. The area is peaceful and quiet, yet just a short distance from the CBD, shops, and great restaurants. Perfect balance of comfort and convenience. Highly recommend!”

“What a fantastic place, stayed from the 6th to the 9th April, I chose here as it is very close to the Southern cross hospital where I had my operation. My room was really nice close to the main entrance which was a big bonus, the staff were really nice and helpful. Plenty of food places around even though I didn’t use them. Hoyt’s cinema close by as well. But as I mentioned earlier it was the helpful staff that impressed me the most. I highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay again.”

“We have stayed here twice now and really enjoy it. It is easy to get to. They make valet parking a breeze. The rooms are a good size, breakfast is great and we really enjoy the inside pool/ spa/ sauna that you can use regardless of the weather. I would definitely return.”

“We are presently staying at this newer hotel for 5 nights , checking in was smooth and friendly… our room is modern , very clean and has everything we need .. it has a great location , accessible to bus routes.. if I had to suggest something: it would be nice to have an ice machine in the building !”

There were plenty of towels, and the heated towel rail was a great touch. The kitchenette was well-equipped and very convenient, and the lovely owners made the experience even better. “Took my Puppy here for her haircut last week and it was the best she's had yet, we will definitely become regulars here. They asked me exactly how I wanted her to look, and they made sure that she had the best experience ever. Being a puppy she's very social and active but she came out looking absolutely amazing and I couldn't have wished for a better job. Amazing team and fabulous groomers in a wonderful space with plenty of parking for a quick dash in and out.”

“We had the best family holiday break staying in the motel units at Orua bay, despite the weather. The lovely hosts made us so welcome and catered to our every need. The extended family especially enjoyed family games of cricket on the lawn when the weather cleared, the setting was amazing and well worth the drive out.
