“John was an excellent host and the place was incredible. The views were absolutely epic and we enjoyed visiting the beach and dunes. If you’re looking for a remote area to stay, this is it. It is about an hour from Auckland. I recommend visiting Rotorua, as well as PIha beach if you have the time. So awesome. I’ll probably never be back because I live 16 hours away via airplane but the memories I had were once in a lifetime. Thanks John, I hope to see you one day again. Excellent conversations indeed. Overall clean, comfortable premise, decorated with pasifika and local arts and friendly polite staff. Cafes, shops and more eateries only a few mins walk. Auckland CBD is a good downhill walk. Totally recommend.”

From the moment we drop her off, she’s greeted with so much love and enthusiasm that it’s clear how much the team genuinely cares about the dogs in their care. “My wife & I enjoyed staying 3 nights. Tina the owner was really lovely to deal with making the booking & arrival pleasant. Tina has created a cosy lounge area to relax in with a warm fire going. The bedrooms with there large beds are tastefully set out with views across Auckland on the top floors. It was a treat to stay hear, easy to find & convenient to all amenities only 20ish minutes from the city. We would return here if needing to stay in Auckland again”

“I can’t recommend this daycare enough! I send my puppy to daycare once a week, and she is so excited to go that she pulls me to reception in the mornings and when I pick her up she tears around the corner with a big smile on her face like she’s had the best day ever! I’ve also noticed a number of times she’s tried to shower members of the team in kisses which she only does when she really loves someone ❤️ Katy has always been so flexible like the time I showed up when daycare was closed for Christmas and she still took Lulu for the day or the 6mths that she kept Lulu’s space while I recovered from a head injury. And I love when I get updates at pickup about the friends she played with that day! It is so obvious through Lulu’s excitement, how well she’s taken care of and how much she loves her daycare. As Lulu’s mum it’s really nice for me to know she’s having the time of her life when I’m at work so thank you so much Katy and team!”

“Had an AMAZING time. I never post reviews but I have to say their staff was super friendly, my partner and I loved the kayaks available and the bay nearby was perfect for a swim when the tide was in. The accomodation was very clean, had a great set up with a huge fan on the room to keep cool in the summer. Waiting for another available date to open up and will definitely be booking again!! Also..catching the bus to Countdown and Oneroa (the main beach and town) was really easy, with the bus stop only being a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend :))”

“Awesome experience! Amazing locations with incredible views and very close by to all the main attractions of the island - but you definitely do need a car. Wood burning stove outside to keep you toasty in the evening and super fun wild / camping weekend! Charlie was absolutely delightful and so helpful! Would definitely recommend this place!”

“We loved our stay at the Mini Homestay. It was our family's (2 adults & 2 children) home for 17 days. Our Hosts Tracey and Lin were very helpful and knowledge. They went out of there way to help us get settled in NZ. Tracey even gave us proof of address so we could open bank accounts etc. Her home stay is conveniently located close to the bus stop which takes you to the mall or CBD. Her homestay is clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this awesome home stay to all my friends!”

“We had the best family holiday break staying in the motel units at Orua bay, despite the weather. The lovely hosts made us so welcome and catered to our every need. The extended family especially enjoyed family games of cricket on the lawn when the weather cleared, the setting was amazing and well worth the drive out. “We loved our experience at Le Chalet in Waiheke. Heidi and Steve were fantastic to deal with, our rooms were lovely and modern yet had a homely feel to them. The view was great and the pool area a fantastic place to relax.”

“What a fantastic place, stayed from the 6th to the 9th April, I chose here as it is very close to the Southern cross hospital where I had my operation. My room was really nice close to the main entrance which was a big bonus, the staff were really nice and helpful. Plenty of food places around even though I didn’t use them. Hoyt’s cinema close by as well. But as I mentioned earlier it was the helpful staff that impressed me the most. I highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay again.”
