Suggest that the owner should make it clear when making the booking, whether it includes breakfast or not. Also, to have the choice of bank transfer instead of cash only.
Would always stay there whenever in Auckland. Spacious lightfilled modern studio, impeccably clean, with a nice seaview. Extra big very comfortable bed with good pillows and lovely duvets. Located in a quiet street in a tranquil neighbourhood yet only a 3 minutes walk from the beach and about 15 minutes walk to the bustling waterfront with lots of restaurants and a lively atmosphere. By car it's only 40 minutes to the Sky Tower and about the same travelling time to AKL International Airport. Sonia and Chris are very nice hosts and always helpful in providing information.
This was the overspill from the B&B. We were allocated a room in the property next door. Everything was perfect. As the property did not do breakfasts we prepared our own yogurt, fruit and muesli which was fab. Very good value.
The Kohi BnB was very clean, quiet and comfortable! Location is very convenient, near some cute cafes, close to the beach and easy access to public transport into the city centre. Lovely hosts that were super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!
After a long journey to Auckland, this was the perfect place to start our holiday. Modern and clean, free-standing and completely private. No noise apart from birds chirping. Great sea view and lots of space. Owners were friendly and helpful. Thanks for pointing us to the bistro in St. Heliers. Will come back at the end of our trip. Start here, finish here.
We stayed in the garden apartment for a month during October and November 2015. We used the apartment as a base from which to visit family and to explore Auckland and the North Island. It was ideal for what we wanted, close to the beach, an enjoyable stroll to the shops and entertainment at St Heliers and Mission Bay. There were many buses running straight into Auckland Centre, about a 15 min ride. The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and well presented. The accommodation had all the basics for self catering, although cooking facilities are limited we managed to cater for ourselves throughout our extended stay. The owners are very helpful, they even did our laundry on a number of occasions and loaned us an iron. If we needed anything or wanted to know anything about Auckland, they went out of their way to help. The B&B worked well for us as a long stay base, but would also be ideal if you just wanted to stay a few days, in my view a better alternative to a hotel.
