   Fantastic location to Spark arena and an easy 10min walk to the waterfront. Cafe across the road was great for breakfast. Only negative was the coffee supplied in the room was decaf. We were on the 13th floor which was very quiet.

   We didn't have high hopes for the accommodation before we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to find it was every bit as good as any other hotel accommodation we had used in Auckland. The staff that checked us in were professional and friendly. Very convenient for the waterfront district and not too far from other central city amenities.

   Everything was excellent. Room clean and very comfortable! Great size for 2 people. Nice bed, covers, and pillows - slept great. Pretty updated decor and enjoyed the view from the window. Room was very quiet and felt private. Nice shower and just enough amenities for a short stay with a small frig, plates, silverware, bathroom supplies. Thank you, this was a great location to explore Auckland for a day close to the waterfront and restaurants/bars.

   We are presently staying at this newer hotel for 5 nights , checking in was smooth and friendly… our room is modern , very clean and has everything we need .. it has a great location , accessible to bus routes.. if I had to suggest something: it would be nice to have an ice machine in the building !

   We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Imagine Beach Road Auckland and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, professional, and welcoming. The room was of excellent quality — spacious, modern, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and we were really impressed by the thoughtful design and attention to detail. A big thank you to the housekeeping team — the cleanliness was absolutely top-notch. The room was spotless every day, and it really added to the overall comfort of our stay. We’d also like to give a special mention to Bhakti and Prakriti at the front desk. They were both incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality really stood out. Also, a big thank you to another lovely receptionist (unfortunately I forgot the name!) who was equally kind and welcoming. The location is great too — central and convenient for exploring Auckland. Overall, we had a truly pleasant experience and would absolutely recommend Imagine Beach Road to anyone visiting the city. We’ll definitely stay again!

   The receptionist is very helpful in providing the restaurant recommendations to me. The queen size bed is really comfy and the lighting of the room is sufficient. Also, they provide eating utensil for your dining.

   Nice room. Only problem is the air conditioning/heat pump unit. Even when we set it to 30° it just blew out cold air over the bed. Ended up turning it off and ringing reception for an extra blanket. Reading the reviews it seems a lot of people have had the same problem. Would be nice when staying to have in a warm room during winter. I stayed a year ago and had the same problem, thought my room just had a dud unit. But this stay, a different room and still doesn’t work properly.

   Fantastic location, only 5min walk to Spark Arena and very handy to downtown and the viaduct. Quiet, bed was really comfortable, lovely decor, and bathroom was spacious. It took us a long time to work out the air conditioning and we couldn't get it to heat properly so eventually just turned it off. The rooms at the front of the hotel likely have more light but we were at the back of the hotel facing other buildings and even when we checked in at 2pm on a sunny day we found the lighting extremely dim. Even the bathroom lighting wasn't the best.

   Our room was lovely. Staff were helpful. It had everything we needed. Lovely decor and nice and quiet. Perfect location to drop off our rental car and only a short walk to catch the Northern Explorer train from Auckland to Wellington. There were quite a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There's no parking outside on the street when we checked in otherwise we enjoyed our stay, even though it was only for two nights, and would stay again.
