“If you are coming to Napier, the Art Deco Masonic Hotel is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are clean, fun, and comfortable. We originally only had a booking for 2 days but loved Napier and the hotel so much we booked an extra 2 days at the hotel. Victor at reception, and all the hotel’s staff, are very kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location, everything is walkable from it, and you’re right in the middle of downtown art deco center. When we return to Napier we will be staying at the Art Deco Masonic again!”

“We regularly use these kennels for our two dogs and have always found it a positive experience. The owner and staff are so accommodating with our bookings and any specific requests. Our dogs love staying there and become so excited as soon as we get to the driveway. There is a large grassed area where the dogs are let out of their kennels several times a day and socialised with other similar sized dogs. The food is of a high quality or you are welcome to bring your own. The dogs come home clearly having been well cared for by the passionate and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend using Pet2us.”

“Great location right in central Havelock North, making it super easy to explore the area - shops, cafes, and restaurants were just a short walk away. Loved the free gym access, also conveniently close. The stay was overall enjoyable with nice amenities and helpful staff. The only downsides were a bathroom light that annoyingly switched off every 2 minutes and a barely noticeable tapping noise from the wall. Still, the room was dark and cozy, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Definitely a good pick for anyone visiting the area!”

The staff responsive and communicative and very helpful when I had trouble making calls on my own. They also provided a guest laundry service which was necessary after biking. I would highly recommend it and would come back again.”

Was a bit noisy in the evening if you opened the door but it settled down in time for bed and was quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with two comfortable queen beds. It was also very quiet, which gave us a restful and uninterrupted sleep each night. They kindly provided a portable double hot plate upon request, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. The toilet and bathroom were spotless—another big plus. Location is also a standout—convenient and walkable to Marine Parade, which made exploring Napier easy and enjoyable. “What a great find! This short-notice 2-bedroom accommodation was perfect for the concert, so no need to arrange transport as was a walk across the road. The welcome gift of wine, cheese, and crackers was such a thoughtful touch. We absolutely loved the stylish and comfortable villa in a beautiful area, and it was also very clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed, even an air fryer. Having off-road parking for a couple of cars was so handy, and the location couldn't have been better for exploring Havelock North and the wineries.”

“The best place for your fur-baby! Lilla and Jeremy have created a cat safe haven, with lots of lovely sunny spots, hidey-holes, and comfortable sofas for cat naps. The individual spaces are very clean and modern. The shared spaces are beautifully presented with lots of interesting features to keep the kitties happy and entertained (including a fish pond!). My cat Zoe stayed here for almost a month during the summer holidays. I was a bit worried about leaving her for so long, but after meeting Lilla and Jeremy and seeing their space, I knew she was in very loving hands. She was very calm and happy when I collected her, and is as shiny and healthy looking as ever. Thank you so much Lilla and Jeremy.”

“What an incredible find! Don't let the lack of online booking dissuade you from staying here- it's an amazing place with truly wonderful hosts. Charlotte and Stephen were so welcoming to the four of us (2 couples), from chatting about their journey to Greenhill, to sharing local recommendations, to amazing homecooked meals (definitely take them up on daily breakfast, and you have to eat dinner in at least once!). We felt very at home, and there were no shortage of spots to relax and soak in the beauty of Hawke's Bay. All guest rooms open to the front porch or the back courtyard, they're spacious and well-appointed, with modern bathrooms and homey touches. The billiard room is especially fun, as was the pool area (complete with cedar 2-person hot tub). We loved meeting all the resident animals (alpacas, mini ponies, goats, dogs, cats), but guests with animal allergies should be aware that a few of the fur babies are indoor pets. I wish we could have stayed longer, Greenhill would be the perfect place to get away from it all for an extended visit to the countryside!”

“The large cottage was lovely and very well appointed. Was not lacking any amenities. Our weather wasn’t that warm so didn’t get to sit outside. The king size bed was so comfortable! I enjoyed a bath (both nights) in the separate bathroom. The bathing products were awesome. The cottages are a bit out of the way but such a great coffee place down the road. So you need to drive a bit to restaurants and wineries which we didn’t mind. There are bikes available to rent onsite. Overall this was one of our favourite places we stayed while in NZ. We loved the country feel but the modern look. Annabel had left fresh eggs which we cooked up for breakfast one am. Lovely!”
