This place is a 100/10, staff were all nice and friendly, the rooms were surprisingly quite clean and cosy, and the location wasn't far off from Auckland. Overall, the experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place. My favourite part was the gym and the close by river.
i went to this camp for school it was AMAZING. it was abit of a long drive but it was SUPER COOL. but some bags got left in the bus but still 5 stars. my favourite part was rainbow tag. thank you for letting us stay a big thank you from waiuku primary school
Absolutely disgraceful behavior. Auckland is in a State of Emergency due to widespread and severe flooding and the camp will not negotiate a cancellation or postponement of a booked camp the day following the flooding. "National Emergency Management Agency @NZcivildefence Auckland - Avoid non-essential travel today. Stay home if you can. If you do have to travel, drive to the conditions and never drive through floodwaters. If you come to a flooded area, turn around and go another way. Put safety first. Don’t take any chances." I am only writing my observations as per communications from the school, they were unable to cancel due to your response. You have denied cancellation despite the current situation, most kids families cannot or will not attend due to the current State of Emergency. There is nothing opinionated about my review and I will stand by all my comments. Happy for you to prove me wrong, but you seem to not understand the situation. Awesome location, amazing food and lovely people
If you can handle the cold fresh waters of the Waitakeres, and ain't afraid of the local Taniwha, then its a mint summers spot! Well maintained camp grounds with a good range of activities on offer.
All my kids love this great holiday park.. a must to send young people to for holiday activities. They come back raving and satisfied ..a truly life changing experience for everyone attending. .
