“Our stay at the Delamore Lodge was fantastic! The lodge is unique and comfortable, with an incredible view. We loved waking up in the morning to the ocean view from our room and hiking down to the nearby bay. The service is phenomenal, very friendly and attentive staff. The food is 10/10-so fresh and we enjoyed trying the local foods! Wonderful breakfast by the fire each morning, evening appetizers, and the “Trust the Chef” dinner we had as fantastic. If you are looking for a charming lodge and great cuisine, the delamore is the place for you!”

“We heard about K9 Heaven through the council when we rescued a dog from the Henderson Pound which we ended up taking to K9 Heaven and since then we’ve taken all our dogs there. Doggydan recommended K9 Heaven as well. Our dog Loki that was found on the southern motorway in Auckland at 12 weeks absolutely loved K9 Heaven and so did his companion our little staffi. They are brilliant with the dogs. The staff are wonderful, I know my dogs enjoyed it there because they didn’t want to come back out. I highly recommend anyone to take their dogs to K9 Heaven. I haven’t come across another daycare like it when they get to go on a pack run and play in the mud in the creek and have a shower and come home smelling nice thank you everyone for the brilliant Service .”

“The best cattery we’ve found. Ended up using Club Meow over any of the catteries closer to us as it’s the only one our cat is happy at when we come to collect her. Have left our cat here for 3 months at one point and she was so well looked after. Staff are very knowledgeable and get to know your cat and their needs. Couldn’t recommend more!”

Beautiful food lovingly made, going to sleep every night to the sound of the sea, hammocking in the gorgeous garden, reflecting on the beautiful Piha beach and catching endorphins in the bush! “Piha Beachstay was such a beautiful surprise. The location is perfection, you can walk to the beach, hikes, waterfalls, and into town to grab a coffee. The shared space and rooms were incredibly clean. The hostel was very quiet for us so if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Absolutely stunning location and if the weather is good you are in for a treat!”

“Wonderful. We had exceptional hostesses with Marlene and Tony. Amazing breakfast, everything you would like, our Cream Room was a very pleasant room, everything was laid on for you. Even a hair dryer. You could help yourself to tea, coffee, and for a small fee beer, wine. Cookies to go with your cuppa. Mr Darcy added a special touch. The guests lounge was a very relaxing space. Will go again.”

“The management and staff of Stay at Mission Bay are very professional and respond immediately to issues and/or requests. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. All creature comforts have been considered by the hosts and it makes a significant difference to your stay. Free on-site parking is available but the location is very close to lovely Mission Bay beach and restaurants etc that you don't need a car as you can walk, and just a further few minutes walk along the esplanade, you can reach Kohi Beach and St Heliers Bay. Public transport is just across the road to all places of interest including the aquarium, museums, the CBD and more. Our stay was fantastic and the accommodation is well worth the money spent and certainly as good or better quality than a 4-star hotel. I highly recommended Stay at Mission Bay due to its location, exceptional hosts and management and will definitely return on my next visit.”

“So friendly and very clean, we stayed in the B&B and the afternoon tea consisted of home baking, very yummy. Breakfast in the morning was much more than expected.. few minutes walk to Little Oneroa & 12 minutes to Oneroa Town, so very great location. Highly recommend Punga Lodge”

“We have been so impressed with Kumeu Kennels. Even though Kumeu Kennels is a bit far from us, it is absolutely worth the distance. The regular photo updates on Instagram really show how much the staff care for all the dogs and its so reassuring to see Zippy looking happy and relaxed interacting with everyone. “My rottweiler Nox has been a regular at the Dog Den for 2 years. She is very well looked after by the all the team, as they are all excellent at what they do. She gets to socialize with all different breads, she is mentally stimulated through the day, with awesome pack leadership by the staff. The full day package suits our needs and expectations, and she comes home well exercised and very happy. If you are thinking about a daycare facility for your fur-baby I highly recommend the Dog Den. The best decision we made for our girl.”

“Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach. Our room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.”

“This place is amazing. Best accommodation we've stayed so far. View is perfect, the house itself is flawless, and they provide everything that you could think of. Never get to use a proper espresso machine during our trip anywhere before. Capsule was usually the closest to it ever. Gas bbq is also very good and clean. We had an amazing time. Appreciate it, will definitely recommend it to others, and ourselves will go back if we have the chance to”

“We stayed at Fernhill Cottages for a month while in between houses. Cosy and comfortable and we were able to keep our furbabies with us which was such a relief. We'll equipped cottage with plenty of place to park and it even had a desk to be able to work as well. Thank you for having us Kirsty and Collin!”

“Phasma loves to come to Bethells Farmstay OR "Doggie Disneyland" which our 9 year old son refers to it as because of all the fun we know she has. She's stayed here quite a number of times over the last 18months since we first got her. This family business came highly recommended to us by a friend and they are always quick to respond, hugely accommodating, friendly and we dont have to worry about a thing as we know our little girl is well loved & cared for here. “Petparks looked after my dog, who passed away earlier this year, on numerous occasions. Although he could be quite challenging behaviorally, Petparks understood him and managed him really well and he was always happy and relaxed about going there. Jennifer and Louise were always accommodating and gracious about booking changes, and drop off and pick up times. I never felt hurried when updating them about anything new each time I checked him in for a stay - I felt that they were genuinely interested in his welfare, and fond of him. I was able to enjoy complete peace of mind about him whenever I was away, and I recommend this place unreservedly. Plus Jennifer does the most fabulous grooming!”

“By far one of the best places I have stayed in years. travelling for work a lot, I get to stay at a lot of places and never really feel the need to leave a review one way or the other, but this place is worth a mention. From the first encounter with staff to the last, the experience is friendly and efficient, the room I stayed in was very spacious, extremely well appointed and super clean. Stayed in the middle of winter so noticed the double glazing and individual heat pumps in each room immediately as the apartment was cosy and warm throughout. Vehicles are securely parked underground with easy access to elevators and ample parking. There is a high level of security with elevators requiring room tags to access the correct floor adding additional comfort to lone travellers or people leaving and returning at odd hours. Finally - as an added benefit - you open the doors to the balcony and realise that there is small stream right behind the apartments that you can hear all the time. (Bit too cold during my stay to leave the balcony doors open over night, but in summer this must be the most tranquil experience ever) - I have advised my company, our corporate travel agency and my co-workers that this is by far the most outstanding property I have stayed in for a while and when in the neighbourhood, staying here is an absolute must.”

“My son and I over the years have returned to Orewa Kiwi Cabins time and time again. The 2 bed cabin is clean and ideal for our stay. We walk or cycle around Orewa as so central, 5 mins to the beach and to the heart of restaurants and shops. The owners have always looked after us, so come and stay, as it’s a terrific break away.”

“Room was great, nice size, we weren't stepping on each other's toes. Cute little balcony/conservatory. Good walking distance to Go media stadium for concerts and events. We've booked again for another concert at eden park next year. Staff were super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for food nearby.”

“Very reasonable price for EXCEPTIONAL service. The team really really love my dog and take wonderful care of him. He gets so excited each time he arrives - even though he’s been attending for years. They’re very good at communication and have the dogs well-being at the centre of everything they do. And the staff are bubbly and fun even after hot days running after the dogs. Highly recommend.”

“Would highly recommend Furry Babies Day Care to any dog owner. We’ve got our puppy during the lock down period, he was once a very shy boy due to lack of socialisation. After been to Furry Babies Day Care a few weeks our beloved puppy is growing in to a wonderfully confident dog. They are treating him as their own baby. Professional and reliable. Very trustworthy!”

“This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.”
