   I lived in the vicinity of what used to be the Langham for ten years before leaving Auckland, yet I had never stayed there until yesterday. Checking into the Cordis for the very first time was a pleasant experience. While there were a few hits and misses regarding what a luxury hotel should provide at a bare minimum, I truly appreciated the staff. Their service made for a memorable stay. A special thanks to Ruby at the front desk and the rest of the team for making such a great first impression.

   Lovely 2 night stay at the Cordis. Service is warm and attentive including but not limited to front desk, luggage attendant, and breakfast service. Rooms are spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Clean and white towels. Loved the shuttle to and from the downtown touristy area. Breakfast is great with a lot of options.

   We had a lovely experience on level 14 with the staff. They could not do enough for us and their happy smiling faces made our visits memorable. The food and wine were also very nice. I would like to make a special mention to the incredible customer focussed staff - Michelle, Nikhil and Manish. See you next visit.

   We stayed at Cordis for a girls’ night and it was exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and the whole place felt relaxing and calm. The facilities are fantastic – the rooftop pool was warm and we honestly felt like we were on vacation. Our room (21713) had a stunning view looking out over the city, the Sky Tower and right across the water to Rangitoto. Such a lovely stay and a great spot for a little getaway in the city. Would happily come back again

   Had an amazing 2 night at the cordis, staying in the club rooms. Lovely attentive staff in the lounge. Room was decorated for husbands birthday. Lovely surprise. Check in was easy. After tea and evening drinks were great. The serving team in the evening, in particular Dewmi and Nesha took great care of us. Will definitely be back!

   We are currently staying in this hotel, checked in last night, which was after midnight. For 10 good minutes we were by our self in the lobby with no one around. Worst check in process, no information provided by the front office staff. Went is room, we asked for a higher floor at the time of booking with a decent view and we got was carpark view. Tried to ring them no one answered. Had to go downstairs and again no one came out to talk to us. Later on the duty manager came out, was very rude and not at all interested to talk. It was 3 am we went back in the room and call for in room dining, no one answered for good 15 minutes. In short worst hotel, worst service.

   Amazing stay. Right in the centre of Auckland so perfect for the shops and harbour. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. There were chocolate fountains and the cooked breakfast’s were great. The pool was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The interconnecting rooms were great for our group and were very luxurious.

   To be honest I won’t recommend this hotel the view from the room is amazing. When we checked in the room was not clean and there was hairs in the bathroom and it looked like it wasn’t clean until I approached the receptionist lady about it and she had to change me into the other room. I had a bad experience this night especially on my hubby birthday and receptionist was slow and couldn’t work under pressure. I won’t recommend this hotel at all they offered me free breakfast. I believe they should always keep their rooms tidy especially the price we’re paying. Won’t recommend and won’t be back here again!

   Our stay here was average. The highlight of our stay was the comfort of the bed and the pool/spa/sauna. Another was the "activities" like candy floss, free entertainment in the lobby etc. Staff in the kitchen in the restaurant eight were very lovely. Our downside of our stay was service, i rung reception to let them know of a damp, dusty odour in my room and i figured it out that it was the shower curtains. The person on the other end of the phone replied with "well what do you want me to do about it, do you want it cleaned again" i said yes or to come and see for themselves. I also had to request bath mats as there were none in the room. I waited 3 hours for someone to come up to service the room but nobody arrived. Note: this was at 8pm at night and i stayed up till 11pm waiting. Missing toiletries as well and broken equipment in bathroom which to me this is no where near a 5 star hotel. Next was that i rung like the paper says to do for my car to be ready by the time i got downstairs. Sadly no my car was not ready and i had to wait another 30 minutes. Reception staff weren't very happy, they were not helpful at all either. Definitely wouldn't say its a 5 star. More a 4.

   our stay here recently was amazing! exceeded our expectations & we did not want to leave, we were given a room upgrade too because our stay was to celebrate my birthday & being engaged. so that was a lovely surprise, hotel staff were polite & helpful. Spa and sauna was great!
