The location was very convenient. Just a few minutes walk from all the shops, cafes, and restaurants. I particularly loved the quiet room and the soft bed. The welcome card with chocolates and the complimentary coffee pods were an added bonus!
I love this place. It's been a few years since I stayed, and wow! The refurbishment of the rooms are incredible. It's the cleanest newest tastefully designed decor I have experienced in a long time.
This hotel is fabulous and the staff are fantastic. I don't say that lightly. Checked into this hotel after numerous stays at other hotels on my trip. The welcome was great plus a complimentary upgrade. On arrival I realised I had left a bag in the taxi. The receptionist contacted the taxi company and managed to track it down and arrange for it to be delivered the next day - that is above and beyond. In the morning the receptionist who was on duty further contacted the company to ensure they were still going to drop it off. When it arrived she then rang me to tell me it had arrived - above and beyond. The service the two receptionists gave was absolutely priceless. They are asset's to the hotel. The room was amazing, massive bed, kitchen, spacious bathroom. Very clean.The only disappointment was that I was only staying one night. Would definitely stay again if I ever visited Auckland again. Thank you everyone at the hotel.
The Legacy is a truly lovely hotel in the heart of Auckland with a fantastic location. The room was beautiful, with a comfortable (and large) bed, nice furnishings, a very nice bathroom, and everything was clean and tidy. The rooms were also quiet, and you could darken them really well. We had originally planned to stay at a different hotel, but then spontaneously decided on the Legacy based on the beautiful pictures, and we haven't regretted it for a second. I highly recommend it. P.S. There's also great parking available about a three-minute walk away in the Civic Car Park.
We had such a wonderful stay at the Legacy Airdale Hotel! The room was really lovely — clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. When we arrived, the staff kindly upgraded our room for free and even let us check in early, which was such a nice surprise. The housekeeping team cleaned the room every day and kept everything spotless. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and such a nice place to stay. Highly recommend!
This is such an amazing experience - you have to be ok with a cozy vibe that is not modern but very much like being home. Rooms are great size and the views in the suits are excellent. Right in queen street lots to do and eat !!
We found this hotel as part of regular business travel and I wish we had earlier, happily have my team book here now.. Good food and rooms are very comfortable and roomy for me (fussy work traveller) but the best thing is the staff, so far all of the team I have dealt with have been lovely and nothing has been a problem (not that there were any) on my requests. Location is good for me in Central city in relation to my sites I have to visit to avoid the really bad traffic.
Absolutely wonderful! I spoke to (Julia?) on the phone before booking, as I wanted a quiet room and a King sized bed. She was incredibly accommodating, the room was gorgeous and very quiet so I was able to get a really great nights sleep. Ordered room service, very well priced and huge portions! I can not wait to return!
The room was clean and quiet. Hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming. We were there for a conference near Aotea Square so the location was perfect, and not too far from great places to eat and fun activities in the CBD.
Very comfortable and clean. The staff were their greatest asset, always cheerful and friendly, willing to assist with any request. The breakfast was part of my booking and it was wonderful as it included anything on the menu no matter the price. Location was very central, so easy to get around the main attractions. Across the street from the theatre. Would highly recommend and if I am in Auckland again it would be my first choice.
