“We stayed for just 1 night and it was really amazing. Qi is super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. Bedroom had a kettle and mini fridge available for use. Slippers, toothbrush and conditioner shampoo were also included. Breakfast was delicious and right on time. Definitely worth it!”

“Having just spent the weekend at Quail Lodge with my Mum, I simply can't give it a high enough rating! Starting with the warm welcome, the kindness that hosts Sam and Hamish showed was second to none. The accommodation was superb and it felt like we'd been wrapped up in a luxurious big hug. The food was exceptional, Sam is an incredible cook and nothing was too much trouble. Everything including the beautiful location and scenery was truly a memorable and lasting experience. Hoping that we can return in the not too distant future. Thank you for having us.”

“Can’t recommend Marino Ridge enough! Caroline and Peter are amazing hosts. They’re very knowledgeable about life on Waiheke Island and gave us lots of helpful recs for our whole trip through New Zealand. Marino Ridge has incredible views in all directions and the rooms are very comfortable. It’s a great location, with easy access to the ferry, hiking trails, and Oneroa Village.”

“Leaving our lab with Cecilia & team was a smooth and easy process, giving us peace and mind during Lulu’s recovery. Lulu recently had a TPLO, and we were unable to care for her on the property. She’s been with The Doggery for the last 8-weeks. During this time they’ve cared for her remarkably well, helping her heal, with weight loss, kept on top of her medications, facilitated vet trips all the way to Franklin(!), and provided clear/concise updates on the wellbeing of Lulu. We could not have asked for a more effective recovery facility, and definitely know she was loved the entire time.”

“I can not recommend Purradise Manor Cattery enough ! We have been using Kirsten's service since our boys were still small and it's been years. It's completely worry-free when we had Kirsten taking care of our boys when we were away. Love seeing our boys though her Facebook updates. We have now moved to Australia so we are gonna miss the good services Kirsten provided.”

“This was our first time at Waiheke Island we loved every day we stayed. One O One cabins was beautiful & peaceful the cabin was equipped with all you needed clean and modern. A sunny spot listening to the Tui each morning. Our only tip would be, be aware of all steps as it is a climb if you struggle with going up and down. Thank you for an amazing stay.”

“Brett and Veronica were amazing hosts and our stay was truly 5 stars. The views of the vineyard are beautiful, there is a short hike to the beach, and they have a cute dog who hung out with us for a bit. Veronica also took us into town for a yoga class one of the mornings!”

“We absolutely love this place! We were worried at first as our pup wasn’t very social, but this place has totally transformed him. He’s more confident, social and loves playing with the other dogs. I love the fact that we keep getting updates and photos/videos throughout the day. We truely feel that they care and love our pup! He is always excited to go there and is happy and exhausted once back! Will definitely recommend!”

“My little puppy has just gone along for his first day and I'm already super impressed. The staff are beyond friendly, they knew my puppies name without ever having met him and they provide regular updates on the first day with personalised feedback. “Purrfurred Cattery is second to none! Sally and the team do an excellent job of making fur babies feel happy, loved and cared for away from home. We have two adventurous and rather large and demanding Siamese boys. They are always cared for and accommodated in a way that works for them. Thank you so much for the level of kindness, patience and care offered. We appreciate all the Purrfurred team do! Facilities are large, varied and clean. The cat minders are conscientious and considerate of each cat’s needs. Our boys return home settled and happy. A very special place that we are thankful to have established a relationship with.”

“Baxter our Golden retriever has been going to Dog Den for most of his life. He’s now a senior dog and still LOVES going to daycare. The staff are so loving and friendly to him and we know he is safe and well cared for. They will always let us know how he’s been and if he has been a bit off. They are flexible and understanding if we need to make changes to days he attends. They feel like part of our family and we’re grateful for the care they show our furbaby ❤️”

“I want to thank the team at Top Dogs Day Stay for the recent grooming they did on Stormy and Benji. It started with a consultation as to what I thought needed doing, and then they gave some ideas and I left them to it. When I picked them up afterwards they looked very smart. Their hair was trimmed to perfection, their ears were nice and clean, and their claws nicely trimmed. They also smelt wonderful. Thanks so much team; you are amazing!!”

“Our first stop after arriving in New Zealand, not too far from the airport which was excellent after a long flight. Cottage was clean, bright and homely. It was so comfortable staying there. So many different spreads and jams provided for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitant to recommend to our friends.”

“This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.”

“We loved spending 4 nights at Wild Thyme! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, with Bruce picking us up at the ferry and delivering us back to the ferry at the end of our stay. We recommend spending a day touring wineries with Jules. It was also easy to walk into town from Wild Thyme, or catch at bus at the bottom of the hill. The bus took us to additional wineries!”

The room was very comfortable and morning tea and coffee just outside our room was perfect. Breakfast downstairs with a beautiful view. We could not have asked for more.
