“Have been here several times and the food has always been amazing. Authentic Indian cuisine with a wide variety of options - and all vegetarian. Food is always fresh, and the prices are also pretty reasonable. The Indian sweets are on the pricier side though. I had the chole bhature, which was freshly made, the chole had a good spice level and the bhature was fluffy and hot! My favourite! The service itself is just alright and they now have mechanical carts delivering food, so it takes away some personal touches in my opinion.”

When I came back to place my order, Sugeet recognised me and remembered which couch I was looking at. The ordering process was very easy and all terms were made clear to me. This was on a friday afternoon...They only had 1 of the urgent prescriptions we needed however Chemist Warehouse Henderson offered before we even said we would come to get the other which they had to order it in for us and would be there the next day... True to their word it arrived there just after mid day and gave me a call. Thank you Warehouse Chemist Henderson. They were the only Chemist that offered out of 5. So 5 stars for you guys. Much appreciated”

“Note that all the bad reviews seem to be really old :) I had an awesome experience in store today. I'm autistic, and find the mall to be super stressful and overwhelming. Max was by far the most chill shop I went into - the layout is spacious and easy to navigate, quiet music, beautiful products, great sale prices. The lady at the counter was so helpful and friendly too, without being in your face about it. 10/10 recommend shopping here!”

The food is exceptional. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is unashamedly Indian. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. “I just want to leave a massive thank you to Colline and Franchoné. My 89 year old grandmother wanted to buy her great-grandchild a special gift for her 13th birthday. My daughter picked out her favourite earrings, and I wanted to subtly contribute to the cost as it was a wee over her budget. These amazing women very discreetly helped me. At the counter, when she went to pay, they kindly said, "Great news! There is a sale on this item today!" To justify the price difference. They caught all the cues in a tight situation. “After reading some of the appalling reviews I had to leave something positive. The staff here are always pleasant and the lady behind the counter in particular is always friendly, and has been for the past few years I've been coming here. It has a lot of the things we might need without having to go further to the supermarket, and I've never once witnessed any even remotely negative behaviour by any of the staff. The prices are slightly higher than the supermarket conglomerate but exactly what you'd expect from a local superette. Never once had an issue with anything we've bought or any of the people working here.”
