I would like someone to explain to us why the 90 Day Warranty on items online can be cut down by the staff to 30 days when the item is purchased in person. It is advertised on your website as 90 DAYS and to have it cut down to 30 days with no explanation in store other than "policy" is total rubbish. We came in to purchase a laptop today and was served by Preneeta, or a name similar. She's an older Indian lady. We saw the laptop advertised online and wanted to look at it in person before buying to make sure it didn't have any damage, nicks etc as it was purchased for our child. However, when we were given the receipt, we noticed it had a 30 day warranty rather than the 90 warranty it was listed with. So we went back to ask why. We were confused about it, but we were still respectful and calm. Her explanation to us was, "It's store policy to cut it down to 30 days. If you get it online, it's 90 days because no one can make the cut to 30 days because it isn't actively being managed by anyone." WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. We asked her why that's even a policy; it makes no sense. And she rudely waved us off and said, "I don't have time for this." And scribbled "90" on the receipt. We then had to ask her to put her initials next her amendment to ensure that it was valid if we needed to return the item and she again, cut us off and said "I don't have time to deal with this" We asked, What gives them the right to cut the warranty down by TWO months just because it's being purchased "in store"??? It should not make a difference whether it's bought online or in person, the warranty should stand regardless. It isn't advertised anywhere in the store OR website that it is their practice to cut the warranty down, and quite frankly, it doesn't seem legal. So is this just something that the staff can choose to issue to whoever they want? And if so, how is it measured? All of it screams DODGY. I would steer FAR AWAY from this store. Be sure to check your receipts and make sure that you are getting the warranty they are advertising .

I donβt often leave reviews but the guy who works on the back counters, the finance and loans section, is one of the best customer service people I have ever met. He is genuine and engaging, really professional, and has fantastic customer recall which is pretty rare. A real pleasure to deal with and an asset to this company :)

Sold some items here several years ago to be fair. They were very low on the prices that they would pay/ I also pawned a ring there and the interest charged was diabolical. would never do that ever again.

What a rude staff, they really don't care what I said some reason. So first, I want to sell 60 dollar speaker. The quality is very good, no scratch and no marks. They said that they can only do 20. That's too low, u guys are ripping off!! Please don't come to this place.

18/05/23 Going in today and once again the staff are so unprofessional talking and swearing loudly amongst eachother, completely ignoring us and walking past us not asking if we wanted help. I actually think one of the people was the manager. There was one woman there either mΔori or pacific islander she was helpful and professional. We don't come to pawn things we come to look for gold and I've already walked out without buying anything from the rude service last time. Standing at the counter wanting to see a necklace and can see 2 staff members helping one person. Then the guy looks like he's coming to assist us and he walks straight past. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Um what kind of b.s customer service is that?! We will take our money elsewhere.
