Went to the store to return a dress and a tank top today. The staff is quiet cold and rude, and keep checking my bank card twice as if I’m doing something illegal. Another day, they check my ID when I used my credit card to pay. There is something odd about this business regarding payment and ID thing. Wouldn’t shop at this brand anymore in the future.
I had a really great experience with the staff at MAX Albany. I had an issue with my pants as they did not fit as nicely as I wanted them to, I really wanted to return them but I had misplaced my tag. I explained my situation to the lovely lady at the till and she immediately made an effort to help and solve the problem. I left feeling really satisfied and happy with the outcome. The ladies that work at Albany are always so kind and welcoming. Will absolutely shop again!!
Note that all the bad reviews seem to be really old :) I had an awesome experience in store today. I'm autistic, and find the mall to be super stressful and overwhelming. Max was by far the most chill shop I went into - the layout is spacious and easy to navigate, quiet music, beautiful products, great sale prices. The lady at the counter was so helpful and friendly too, without being in your face about it. 10/10 recommend shopping here!
We had an issue with returning a product that we bought at full price - we ended up only being refunded the current sale amount and realised after the fact. Abby at the Albany Max store was super helpful in getting the mistake rectified with head office. She was patient, accommodating, apologetic, efficient and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied and our issue was made a priority.
Michelle(?) at Albany max was super duper amazing and patient and helped me find some great jeans :) tysm!
The staff here spent loads of time with me to find the absolutely best fit and outfit for my needs. Their aroha was gratefully received and recognised. Come here for excellent and tasteful fashion!
How the Manager was treating the staff, that I saw, was so mean and rude, I was quite appalled that they think it is okay to treat their own staff like that. I had to go up and ask the girl who was treated badly if she was okay and her response, along with what I saw, made me never purchase or support this store ever again. I take my business elsewhere. Absolutely awful, I felt so sad :(

Poor customer service with inappropriate manners. Be careful with their exchange policy. It's very different and limited from other brands and shops.
