   We purchased a lounge suite from Nick Scali wairau rd. We were in this store a long time , deciding which lounge suite was best for us . The sales assistant was so helpful while we were making our decision . The suite was delivered right on time and we love it . This is our second big purchase from the same store , and I’m sure we will back for our next big furniture purchase .

   Vanessa’s service was exceptional. She was polite, genuine, and very patient while showing me several pieces of furniture, and I truly appreciated her help. However, I would have given the store a five-star review if it weren’t for one of her colleagues repeatedly interrupting us while I was finalising my payment. His behaviour was unacceptable and came across as an attempt to take the commission from her. Very rude. Customers should ensure their payment is handled by the staff member who actually served them. Overall still very happy with their product and services.

   2 stars due to being able to pick the couch that was easy and the sales man was great. Trying to pay for the couch was a whole mission. Dont take cash at all so after a small argument with the staff and treated poorly I ended up having to go to bnz who nick scali bank with and direct deposit them the cash. Just way more hassle than it needed to be. I didn't need change, I had saved up exactly how much the couch was. Would i buy with them again? Probably not out of principle.

   We had such a wonderful experience with Katie at the Nick Scali Furniture Wairau branch. From the moment we walked in to browse furniture for our new home, she was kind, welcoming, and friendly. After we decided on our pieces, we purchased a modular sofa, bed frame, and mattress. Katie gave us great advice when choosing the mattress, which we really appreciated. She even went above and beyond when we asked for a price adjustment during the cooling period. She helped us complete this successfully while she was away on holiday in Australia. As soon as she returned to New Zealand, she followed up with a confirmation call to reassure us everything had been taken care of. We’re so happy with our purchases and Katie’s outstanding service made the process stress-free and enjoyable. We look forward to coming back for more furniture in the future!

We had almost finalized our furniture at another store, but the variety in your store along with the way you explained everything and guided us through, completely changed our plan.    Bought a sofa at Nickscali Wairau store. Ash, the store manager, has been extremely helpful from helping me select a sofa that suits my need, to ensuring the sofa can wait till I get the house. You name it! He’s definitely your go-to person as he’s very experienced to solve all unexpected problems! Very good purchase experience!

   Wow, the other reviewers here are so right. I can't begin to explain how awful the delivery process with these guys is. As everybody else has said - Kim was amazing! ... but after purchase it's been a debacle. To get a simple conversation on a delivery time because i have to go out at 4pm on the delivery day has been impossible. You have to speak to an offshore call centre, who simply say that we can't tell you a time, and if you miss the delivery you have to pay another $90. And then I just received a text at 6pm saying to i have to confirm a delivery time by replying "OK" within 12 hours, or the delivery gets resceduled another week. So i call the call centre straight away - and they're closed! 12 hours from now is 6am. what an absolute shambles! ... it must be absolutley embarressing for the local in-store staff to have these muppets in after-service.

   Very different from sales to after payment was made. We purchased a marble dining table from them. They Couldn’t bring it my upstair with 5 men despite us providing them photos, size . We asked them carefully when making the payment and they were very confident that they can bring it upstair easily. Then couldn’t give us any alternative table that they can bring it upstair. Wasting our multiple visiting Time. The store manager was very arrogant. He even told us to call back on Monday as his mind wasn’t free on that Sunday. We had to find a delivery company ourselves that can deliver that table and they said it was sold out. The store manager said it was Going to take 2 months to arrive. I asked for a refund and they refused. Have to talk to my lawyer, finally, they agreed to made a refund . However, it took 2 weeks after asking several times for bank account information and I have provided fully every single time. It was such a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend to buy anything from this company.

   Took a long time and arrived late. After a few months, I really did take to the couch, uncomfortable, doesn’t hold its shape and cushions are already sagging. Called them to ask what can be done, a rep arrived and said there was nothing wrong and I never heard from them again. Was still well in warranty and wanted to see what options they had around swapping for another couch. I would not purchase from them again, not helpful in the slightest.

   We purchased a lounge set month ago and Sean promised us that it is in stock and will be delivered on the date we agreed on. This never happened, in fact they told us that the waiting time is 9 weeks. They never updated us even thought I paid 3 days prior to delivery. I will never buy anything from this brand and will also let friends and families know about the horrible experience. Please always buy from well known brands such as Harvey Norman.
