    One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had—especially for a store that charges luxury prices. I came in genuinely interested in purchasing, but that changed quickly thanks to the older blonde sales associate who clearly found my presence inconvenient. When I politely asked if a piece was available in a different size, I was met with eye-rolling, sighs, and an attitude that suggested I’d committed some kind of offense by asking her to do her job. Rather than being helpful or professional, she was dismissive and rude, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No attempt to check stock properly, no courtesy, no basic respect—just condescension and impatience. If this is how customers are treated for asking a simple, reasonable question, then the store has a serious problem. At these prices, I expect at least a baseline level of politeness. There are plenty of other fashion stores that sell beautiful clothing and treat customers decently. I certainly won’t be recommending the Newmarket store to anyone. Luxury pricing does not excuse lousy service.

    went in for the first time after viewing superette’s offerings online - thought I would be expecting an elevated store experience in person but everyone who worked here looked like they hated their job. No greetings, no smiles… in fact, when workers looked at me they would frown. When I was served (which was once i waited in line @ PoS) the server once again acted like she didn’t want to be there… I even shared how I was looking at a product for weeks but due to me getting an award @ work the other day I had decided to treat myself and SHE DID NOT CARE AT ALL WHICH IS FAIR ENOUGH but wow some reaction would be lovely. I think everyone needs a little re-education on customer service especially during this holiday period because LOL I’m never shopping here again just due to the below average customer service for how expensive everything is.

    Update: Response below to my review is subpar. It appears that this is the "culture" of this store, reading the previous reviews below. I don't believe that this company actually takes these reviews seriously. This kind of treatment appears to be complacent within the company, which seems very disappointing and concerning. I contact the provided email and an AI chat bot replied to an issues as serious as this. Hence why this is a common occurrence. Extremely Disappointing Experience at Superette I had a very unpleasant experience at this store. From the moment I walked in, I felt ignored. When I asked for assistance to view an item, the store host’s attitude was reluctant and cold. What made it worse was seeing how differently she interacted with another customer who was European, the contrast was clear. I don’t like to make this about micro aggressions, but the interaction left me feeling completely appalled. It’s been three weeks, and the experience still sits with me. I was planning to return to purchase a pair of sunglasses, but I chose to buy them from David Jones instead because I didn’t want to step back into that environment. No customer should ever be made to feel that way. It was disheartening, disappointing, and unacceptable. I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience had to be shared. Superette do better!

    It was a disappointing experience. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. They assisted us but it really felt forced, like they didn’t want to help. Is it because of our skin colour and that we don’t look ‘posh’ enough to their liking? I can see that it is a recurring pattern from reading other reviews and it seems like nothing has changed. Although we still end up purchasing something from the store, we will definitely not recommend the store and we will not purchase from here anymore.

    Edit: Mindy from the store kindly reached out which was much appreciated. I paid full price online for a new pair of sunglasses. Upon receiving it, I was very disappointed to see it was anything but new and had been worn, most likely on display. The lenses were covered in fingerprints when the staff who poorly packaged the pair could've at least cleaned them! That should be common sense in a "Premium fashion store" that claims to "cultivate a unique vision of effortless lifestyle and redefine the idea of luxury living".

    As a male in his mid 30s who is terrible at clothes shopping I always find the guys at Superette Newmarket super helpful. Very friendly staff who always go above and beyond, really happy with the new jeans today.     Sweetest gals at the Newmarket store. I request many of my purchases to be done over the phone - they’re super accomodating like that. When I do have to go in to the store and I’ve given them a heads-up, one of them will even run out to the street with my purchases so I don’t have to force my autistic son out of the car. Thank you Newmarket team! Just did an online purchase this morning to save you the trouble today haha x

    Really poor customer service... they recommend signing up so we get a $10 voucher and when I called the store to check if I can use it in store, the staff said the voucher can be converted. But when you actually go in to the store to purchase the staff there is very rude (except for one girl) and said I can't use it in store!! Even the Manager wasn't the friendliest customer assistant, they told me that I was given wrong information by their own "staff" as if it was my fault! However finally the manager had to do it as I said I'd rather do it online... very disappointed shopping here.

    DO NOT PURCHASE A VOUCHER ONLINE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE OF AN ANGEL. Both via mobile and on my laptop were like getting blood from a stone. Never again. I'm sure if you can purchase and obtain your voucher it's a lovely shop.

    High end Youth brands are stocked here. Great brands for both males, females and kids set in a modern upmarket store. The pricing is high end but the clothes are quality and stylish. They also have a good range of accessories.
