“This is the third time we have stayed at Omana Luxury Villa and it is just so amazing. There are four differently decorated 1 Bedroom villas that are generous in size and next level! The quality of products, the ocean island view and the setting is so incredible plus the convenience to get there from Auckland city really is just fabulous. We travel a lot and think we have a little bit of heaven right here on Waiheke Island for all the lovely tourists that come to our country to enjoy and for people like us who feel like a getaway so close to home is just fabulous. 45 minutes and we’re there. Congratulations to Silmara and Cobus for having done such as a superb job of creating an environment we just crave to get back to.”

“The host is nice and very patient whenever you need a helping hand. The house is clean and neat as the rooms are warm and cozy. Heating is well facilitated to give us a warm winter. Generally, it's a worthy experience living here.”

“We celebrated a weekend of our honeymoon at the Boatshed Hotel and we fell in love. Jonathon and his team made us feel like we were the only guests at the hotel. From picking us up at the ferry, giving us charcuterie and wine upon welcoming us into the lobby, and spending every meal overlooking the ocean. We will be back and cannot talk higher about our experience at the Boatshed it was heaven on earth.”

“Piha Beachstay was such a beautiful surprise. The location is perfection, you can walk to the beach, hikes, waterfalls, and into town to grab a coffee. The shared space and rooms were incredibly clean. The hostel was very quiet for us so if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Absolutely stunning location and if the weather is good you are in for a treat!”

“Fantastic hotel, the service was impeccable! Leo was a wonderful host, took care of us and start to finish. And the breakfast was out of this world, more than I could eat, but the best eggs Benedict I’ve had in a long long time. “Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach. Our room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.”

“The management and staff of Stay at Mission Bay are very professional and respond immediately to issues and/or requests. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. All creature comforts have been considered by the hosts and it makes a significant difference to your stay. Free on-site parking is available but the location is very close to lovely Mission Bay beach and restaurants etc that you don't need a car as you can walk, and just a further few minutes walk along the esplanade, you can reach Kohi Beach and St Heliers Bay. Public transport is just across the road to all places of interest including the aquarium, museums, the CBD and more. Our stay was fantastic and the accommodation is well worth the money spent and certainly as good or better quality than a 4-star hotel. I highly recommended Stay at Mission Bay due to its location, exceptional hosts and management and will definitely return on my next visit.”

“The venue is stunning, offering amazing food and wine in a typical French atmosphere. Relax in various spots, from fine dining with ocean and scenic views to casual lounging under the trees. The very nice garden, filled with lots of lavender, adds to the charm.”

“My son and I over the years have returned to Orewa Kiwi Cabins time and time again. The 2 bed cabin is clean and ideal for our stay. We walk or cycle around Orewa as so central, 5 mins to the beach and to the heart of restaurants and shops. The owners have always looked after us, so come and stay, as it’s a terrific break away.”

“This is a great hotel with lovely rooms, comfortable beds and well equipped. Great location for the city. The valet parking was very efficient and they took our bags as we arrived early and delivered to our room when it was ready. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.”

“This place is so good. I stayed here while on a business trip and found the hotel perfect. Easy friendly check in, a lovely room with everything I needed. I ordered from the room service menu and was pleasantly surprised by the burger and chips, simple, cost effective, nourishing and just what I needed. The staff here are so genuinely accommodating and friendly. I will be back.”

“I highly recommend Roomie! We stayed in February 2025. We are from Ireland, and we used Roomie as a base when travelling around NZ . We had all the security of a hotel and all the freedom of an apartment. The beds were comfortable and the apartments were very comfortable and clean.The water pressure in the shower was great . We had lovely showers there. The staff were wonderful, every time you went to the desk you knew you would get help with a smile. I can't complement them enough. The communication via email before our stay was prompt and helpful. We had connections to Avondale so it was an ideal location for us but if you don't have any connections to Avondale, it is still a great location as the train is across the road from the apartment hotel. You can get the train to New Lynn and there is a mall there with a big supermarket or to Mt Albert to Pak N' Save a cheaper supermarket. It also goes to Britomart, where you can get to the viaduct in central Auckland. There is also a shop around the corner if you need some essentials. Try to book direct as you get some extra perks like free laundry and early check-in than if you use a 3rd party website.”

“Wonderful hospitality property in convenient pacific location. Well appointed warm rooms and amazing amenities. Competent staff service with excellent support for old age customers. Pool, park, lobby, business room, entrance and restaurant area facilities are maintained to a Hyatt high standard. Delightful breakfast meals plan with fresh coffee. Any tourist friendly members are treated very well here. Great place to stay in the city. Highly recommended hotel brand see you again”

“I really enjoyed my one-night stay at this hotel excellent value for money. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and even checked us in earlier than the usual 2pm time. The room was large, very clean, and the TV offered plenty of options. My only small feedback would be that the pillows were a bit firm for my liking. I slept well regardless, the shower was refreshing in the morning, and the breakfast was simple yet satisfying. Overall, a great stay I would definitely return next time I’m in Auckland. Thank you!”

“This was our second stay in the villas. We really like the somewhat remote location (but not too remote), the quiet and the beautiful view from the villas. On clear nights, the sky is incredibly as there are not many other locations around. There are lots of birds to watch, and some are not even very shy. The villas are well equipped, nicely decorated and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge during our current stay. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and provides wonderful bathroom products. We would definitely choose this location again. There are two things that might be worth improving: 1. The pool is always covered to avoid having to deal with falling leaves in the water. You have to uncover it any time you want to use it and cover it again after use. As a guest, this does not come across as very welcoming and it would be more convenient if someone to opened it in the morning and covered it at night. 2. If you stay for more than one or two nights, it would be nice if someone would exchange towels or bring extra towels and take out the trash. We did not expect that there was no service at all during our stay and this should be communicated more clearly.”

“We stayed at Cordis for a girls’ night and it was exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and the whole place felt relaxing and calm. The facilities are fantastic – the rooftop pool was warm and we honestly felt like we were on vacation. Our room (21713) had a stunning view looking out over the city, the Sky Tower and right across the water to Rangitoto. Such a lovely stay and a great spot for a little getaway in the city. Would happily come back again”
