   We wanted to indulge ourselves to start out our honeymoon- and we were SPOILED. Peter and Caroline were so welcoming and helpful in navigating the island. They made us feel right at home. The grounds are beautiful and we spent hours looking off the balconies and taking in the views and bird songs. Breakfasts were to die for. We'd move in permanently if they would let us!

   Exceptional Marino Ridge commands the most outstanding views on Waiheke Island which is praise indeed as Waiheke is breathtakingly beautiful. Located 30th minutes by regular ferry from Auckland this is a must on any visit to New Zealand. It will be the first accommodation choice on our list for the whole of New Zealand when we return for the third time. The owners, Caroline and Peter, should be credited with having created what is considered to be the prime luxury property on the island. We felt privileged to stay there. The property is beautifully designed, modern, luxurious and surrounded by nature. Each of the three elegant suites have been designed with everything in mind for the most relaxing of stays. Breakfast is wonderfully prepared by the hosts at a time to suit you and features a range of freshly made dishes with many ingredients coming from their vegetable and fruit garden. In the mornings we sat on our balcony to plan the day but always had to postpone leaving as the panoramic views combining an unbeatable blend of crystal blue ocean, beautiful islands of the Gulf and set in what feels like a nature reserve are just captivating. Marino Ridge is without doubt a gem.

   We spent our first 3 nights in New Zealand at Marino Ridge as guests of Peter and Caroline. They are wonderful and gracious hosts who provide a truly unique and welcoming lodging experience for their guests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the ocean and all the comforts of home. Peter and Caroline prepare a different, delicious breakfast each day, and each day the breakfast is prepared and presented as if being served in a gourmet restaurant. They are very knowledgeable of the island, and they assist guests with transportation needs, as well as recommendations for dining and wine tastings throughout the island. We had a wonderful experience staying at Marino Ridge, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Waiheke Island.

   We had a beautiful stay at Marino Ridge. The room was fantastic with everything you could need, all with amazing views. Caroline and Peter couldn't have been more helpful driving us to vineyards and dinner. Breakfasts were fantastic, I just wish we could have stayed for longer.

   Can’t recommend Marino Ridge enough! Caroline and Peter are amazing hosts. They’re very knowledgeable about life on Waiheke Island and gave us lots of helpful recs for our whole trip through New Zealand. Marino Ridge has incredible views in all directions and the rooms are very comfortable. It’s a great location, with easy access to the ferry, hiking trails, and Oneroa Village.

   If you are looking for a nice luxury accommodation then look no further than Marino Ridge. I was planning a surprise for my wife's birthday so decided to take her for a weekend away in Waiheke. Booking was easy and hassle free as they took care of everything from the transfers and car hire to the dinner bookings. We got the honeymoon/anniversary package and stayed in the Owhanake suite. The room views were spectacular, it was clean and tidy and all the amenities were top shelf. Peter and Caroline were great hosts and we left feeling that we had made some new friends.

   My husband & I have just spent the most relaxing weekend at Marino Ridge on Waiheke Island. What a most stunning location & complete privacy, with views to die for! We could not have asked for better hosts than Caroline & Peter, who immediately made us feel at ease, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts, Michelin quality, as Caroline is 5 star chef, & Peter makes the perfect coffee☕️ We highly recommend to anyone wanting the perfect weekend escape, or longer..

   Exceptional! Sitting high on a ridge with outstanding views and no neighbours in sight, Marino Ridge is a large, sophisticated luxury home with private guest-wing accommodation. Beautiful decor with careful attention to detail makes for a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Caroline and Peter are such great hosts - we loved every minute of our 2-night stay! Just a short ferry or helicopter (they have a helipad) ride from Auckland. Thank you for an amazing experience!
