“Our room was really nice and cozy, came with nice amenities like a stovetop, heat pump, microwave, toaster, kettle. Room was really clean, the bathroom was small but nice and the bedroom was cozy. We had a problem with the stovetop, we couldn't seem to get it to work properly but this could've just been our own error instead of the stovetop being broken. Maybe check to see if you can get the stovetop working if you're planning on cooking while you stay, we resorted to the microwave which worked well. Reception staff was really friendly, we would stay here again. Also right across the street from the grocery store which makes things way easier.”

“I stayed at this motel for 3 months as a business trip. This motel was renovated and operated by a family. So no need to worry about the hygiene or cleaness. However, you don't have toothblush (shampoo, treatment, body wash and body soap are prepared) in this motel. Since this motel is family operated, you can't expect them high-level hospitality, but they are accommodating. They sometimes forgot to restore shampoo, treatments and then others but after I asked them for the restore, they gave me bunch of them.”

“Our wonderful experience at this lovely motel was just magnificent!!! Not only was it less than a 30 minutes drive from Manukau (where we reside) but it was so easy to find :-)). Our given room (no# 1) was clean, comfortable, quiet n worth the money we spent to stay here!!! Tony (the owner) helped us alot n was such an awesome host :-)) thank you!!! “Can’t recommend Marino Ridge enough! Caroline and Peter are amazing hosts. They’re very knowledgeable about life on Waiheke Island and gave us lots of helpful recs for our whole trip through New Zealand. Marino Ridge has incredible views in all directions and the rooms are very comfortable. It’s a great location, with easy access to the ferry, hiking trails, and Oneroa Village.”
