Good hotel and service at affordable price. Had slight presentation issues as few areas in the hotel was under maintenance. Overall, had very good experience. Also, the location was great. Easily accessible to all the local amenities and even the airport.
I have been a ACCOR member for a while and I was truly blown away. Firstly I got upgraded to a deluxe room....which was unexpected. This beautifully appointed room has a kitchenette with beautiful appliances. The room was so beautiful and the bed was so comfy. They even arranged a complimentary happy Birthday cake and sparkling water on arrival. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. (Special shout out to Steph). The property itself is so conveniently situated close to all local attractions, supermarkets and motorways.
Our family had a fantastic stay at The Sebel Manukau. We loved the accommodation—the suite was very spacious, providing plenty of room for all of us to relax and feel comfortable. The good breakfast was the perfect way to start our day, and we especially appreciated how incredibly welcoming the staff were throughout our visit. For travelers, the location is ideal, offering a quick and short driving distance to Auckland Airport (AKL), which made our morning departure absolutely stress-free. Highly recommend!
My recent stay at The Sebel Auckland Manukau on September 23, 2025, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the experience was defined by comfort, professionalism, and thoughtful design. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Auckland Airport and conveniently close to the Vodafone Events Centre and Westfield Manukau. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, the hotel offers easy access to both city attractions and transport hubs. The room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. We especially appreciated the plush bedding, which made for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom featured sleek fixtures and a generously sized shower, stocked with high-quality amenities that added a touch of luxury. Service throughout my stay was warm and attentive. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out a breeze. I also had the pleasure of dining at the on-site restaurant, where the menu offered a satisfying blend of local flavors and international favorites. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and well-presented—perfect for starting the day. Overall, The Sebel Auckland Manukau delivered a refined and relaxing experience. Beautiful hotel, worth the money, in a good location. Staff were super friendly just what you would expect The room was lovely, clean, bed was comfy. Also had a cot put up and ready to go for our toddler. Loved the service. Love that check out is at 11 too
I had the pleasure of dining at the Sebel Hotel in South Auckland for lunch, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dish. The outstanding service added to the overall experience, leaving me thoroughly impressed. Additionally, the venue's capacity to accommodate up to 50 people in a separate area makes it an ideal choice for hosting functions. Being part of the Accor group, the Sebel Hotel undoubtedly upholds high standards. With ample parking space and its proximity to Rainbow's End, a popular holiday destination, it's a convenient and enjoyable choice for all occasions.
Nice large beds, staff friendly, only thing i would say is the pillows are to soft, even with two they don’t support your head. Rooms nice and clean. Food was yum, would stay again
Nice rooms. My only complaint is my room stunk off cigarettes lucky there was a window you could open. Love the bar fridge and the setup with the plates etc. Loved the bed, TV and the shower is AMAZING. Would stay again. Breakfast was pretty good too. Nga Mihi Sebel.
The staff are amazing and polite. Our bed is comfortable. Some kitchen utensils are present and just right for our stay. Its location is easily navigated and close to where we intended to go. Good place for a child, too, as my little one had a blast!
What a wonderful hotel. It’s not quite as flashy as the Novotel at the airport, but it’s not far off and frankly I prefer the rooms at the Sebel. Once in a while I come across a hotel room where they’ve clearly spent a lot of time considering every single aspect of their customers stay and subsequently invested a lot of time designing a room with their customers comfort as the main priority. I’m so pleased to say that this is one of those hotels. They have literally considered every aspect of your stay. You will not be disappointed. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a lady who welcomed me to the hotel. Check in was quick and easy. The room was generous in size, quiet, and immaculately clean with great lighting. The king bed and pillows were very comfortable, as was the bedding. The shower and bathroom was outstanding, particularly the water pressure and temperature in the shower. Right down to the individual placement of items in the bathroom and the gel/shampoo/conditioner hand-pumps located on the wall inside the shower. (So much better than those annoying little bottles). They have thought of everything such as genuine block-out curtains, comfortable furniture, windows that open a little to let fresh air in and a great selection of TV channels. A comfortable headboard when you’re sitting up watching TV and everything you need at arms reach including phone charging points. It was cold and wet so decided to eat in my room. I’m always a little wary of room service but the menu selection looked good and I thought I’d give it a go. I was so happy with my selection of a main, small dessert, plus a cheeseboard. Delivery was really quick and came with a smile. The food was fresh and tasty with good portions. I slept like a baby. No noise interruptions from other guests in the hallway, probably thanks to the way the room entrance has been designed where you step into a mini hallway or space which you share with your neighbor. 2 very small recommendations: 1). A pen in the room. 2). Verbally inform your customers of the $10 car park charge. I’m sure it’s written on the paperwork that I signed at check in, and this is totally on me for missing it, but would be great to give customers a verbal heads up. I was very happy to pay it after such an incredible stay. Check out the next morning was painless and I was on my way within a minute or so. I love an 11am check out. I highly recommend this hotel and I will absolutely be back when in Auckland next. Thank you for a great stay and for making me feel so comfortable.
