We stayed here after a 14 hour flight into Auckland, which is just a 45 minute drive away. Loved this little oasis by the sea. Beautiful manicured grounds and quaint decor in the rooms. We stayed for 2 nights and could have stayed longer, but had to move on.
Had the best stay here. I would recommend coming back. The view was spectacular and the motel was satisfaction and cosy. THANKS Tony we had the best stay ever. Cooked some T-bone steak, creamy mushroom, Toast, Eggs, fried tomato and, an awesome coffee. SHOWERS WERE THE BEST MASSAGE ON MY BACK.
Awesome spot by the sea. Beautiful views. Everything you need. The host was helpful and friendly. Our room did have kind of smelly floor around the loo and the cupboards in the kitchen had drips and runs of food down them and dishes were bit dusty etc. Maybe just needs a top to toe clean a bit more often? Def a nice place to be despite the few cleaning issues.
Awesome and unique well maintained rooms, (we had room 4 and it was boat themed), great friendly hosts, no WiFi or sky TV, so was really nice to disconnect for a few days in a relaxing beautiful place - so close to Auckland too!
An amazing venue 100 meters or less, from the beach. Lovely room clean and tidy and beauty hosts. A beautiful spot can certainly see why the boaties love it. Non commercialised and only 30-40 minutes out of Auckland.
Our wonderful experience at this lovely motel was just magnificent!!! Not only was it less than a 30 minutes drive from Manukau (where we reside) but it was so easy to find :-)). Our given room (no# 1) was clean, comfortable, quiet n worth the money we spent to stay here!!! Tony (the owner) helped us alot n was such an awesome host :-)) thank you!!! We'll definitely visit here again soon .... fyi, take your own alcohol as the nearest liquor store isn't near lol ..... tx
