   We are a party of 4 who came up from Christchurch for Metallica. I couldn't rate this place high enough. Both our rooms were very clean, spacious and well laid out. There was absolutely no smell in either room, the beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. Janelle's communication throughout the whole booking process was outstanding, she did her upmost to accommodate our kids as their original accommodation was cancelled by their motel. She kept her promise to give me the next room that was available after renovations were complete. Thankyou Janelle and staff. You were amazing beyond words ❤️

   Love this place!! The renovations are so fun and fresh. I was suprised to see the low star rating but it seems like it's from years ago before the new owners bought it and renovated it, so don't be fooled! It's a great place with lots of heart.

   You cannot bet the location of this motel. The new owners are doing a fantastic job renovating the rooms. It's very retro and lots of fun. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean. The staff and manager bent over backwards to make our 3 day stay perfect. This motel will get better and better. We will definitely be staying again and again.

   the motel it self was good however the unit was mouldy and the kitchen was full of cockroaches and the receptionist were so rude and liars.

   Our family of 4 stayed in Feb 2023 and it was not an enjoyable stay. On arrival the unit was dirty. Mould in the fridge, floors not vacuumed or washed. The toilet had urine on the seat and the shower sported old hair and band aids. This did not improve after we reported the issues and requested another clean. It petty much ruined our weekend.

   The room was mouldy, dirty windowsills, the door wouldn't open because the hinges were painted shut. Dirty bedspreads. Did not end up staying and asked for money back to stay somewhere else. Would definitely not recommend.

   Very concerned about the lack of cleanliness in our unit. Seems they also have a cockroach problem. Even more concerning was that there was evidence that someone had been into our sons unit when they were out. We approached the reception and told them about the incident. The reaction/response we got was unacceptable and they pretty much had a care factor of zero.

   1st unit had broken window and you couldnt secure the unit, wallpaper lifting on the walls (we were upgraded) 2nd unit was dirty, mouldy and needed maintenance For $195 it was disgusting. Definitely wouldnt recommend.
