Pip and Andy were the best hosts! The breakfast’s were amazingly delicious. The location into town was walkable and the rooms were so comfortable. We walked and hiked the trails near the B & B Andy picked us up at the Ferry and Pip recommend some amazing restaurants for our trip.
My wife and I stayed here in December 2024 for our honeymoon. Truly a five-star experience at this small boutique, bread and breakfast like Lodge. Pip and Andy were truly the best hosts and the breakfast that Pip prepared every morning for the guests was top notch. Birds chriping, sun shining, and the cool, refreshing air coming off the bay was the best way to enjoy my "long black" coffee. Cheers to you Pip and Andy - keep doing what you're doing!
10/10 recommend staying at the Waterfront Lodge in Waiheke! From the pickup/drop off at the ferry terminal, to the delicious breakfasts included, wonderful rooms with a view, and the amenities, it is simply wonderful. Great location, walking distance to the main strip and beaches, rent one of their e-bikes or cars to explore the rest of the island. Pip & Andy are the most wonderful hosts!
You simply have to come here. Pip and Andy are fantastic hosts and there accommodation is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and uber clean. Pip and her team are very helpful with local information and can help with transit connections. We hired a car through them which was really convenient. The prepared breakfast is one of the best you likely ever experience. It certainly was for us. They will help you plan a fantastic experience while on this beautiful island.
Pip and Andy are superb hosts. They are warm, friendly and extremly helpful. Our breakfasts were delicious and special mention to Andys coffee making skills.WWL is a beautiful place to stay with a good central location to shops and beaches. The e-bikes were fantastic and it was great to have a soak in the spa after a long day of sight seeing. Can't recommend WWL highly enough, luxary at its very best!
Andy and Pip were amazing hosts, and my wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary as a special surprise treat. From being collected form the Ferry, to the amazing breakfasts, to the easy borrow of fab electric bikes this place has everything. The little touches were great too - honesty bar, nibbles and drinks in the room, just made it feel luxurious, but also very homely. Really recommend this place. The whole experience and beautiful sunshine we had for 4 days made it like a beautiful getaway. Thanks Andy and Pip we'll be back. Steve & Bridgette
We stayed here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. From the moment Andy picked us up from the ferry terminal to when we left in the early morning with Pip’s takeaway breakfast sandwiches, we loved our stay. Easy walk to shops and restaurants, and we used their e-bikes to get to restaurants and some vineyards. The hot tub was perfect for fall weather. The quality of the gym they built far exceeds the vast majority of gyms in hotels. If you get the chance, stay here if you come to Waiheke.
The loveliest place, people and atmosphere. Andy and Pip are warm and thoughtful, and made our stay at their gorgeous property even more special. We absolutely loved it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect, relaxing stay. Wish we could have stayed a full week. Thank you, Waterfront Lodge!!
Pip and Andy did a great job making my wife and I feel welcome on our honeymoon. Beautiful, clean rooms with abundant space and a great little indoor sitting area to look at the bay. Breakfast was as good as going out to any cafe and dietary restrictions are considered. Their E-bikes were a perfect way to see the Western side of Waiheke Island and made for a great day. We also indulged in their in-room massage which was incredibly convenient and relaxing. I would recommend this Lodge to anyone looking to step up their accommodations on the island.
