I stayed there for 2 nights. Overall was okay, but there were no supermarkets or eateries around, you had to walk for 10 minutes to get to somewhere to eat.
We had a great stay at Ascot Epsom Motel in Auckland. They provided a clean and tidy family room at very short notice, which was extremely convenient for us. A special thanks to Sala for her kind words and assistance with my kids and for the efficient service throughout our stay. The refund of the deposit the following day was handled smoothly and quickly. Excellent customer service and a comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended.
Absolutely lovely motel. Beautiful clean rooms. Great service & great location. Would definitely stay here again.
Warning! DO NOT STAY HERE. I thought it was reasonable and good location, that's where it ends. Room is basic, you only get one blanket, it was clean apart from the ceiling, stinks of old methamphetamine and it makes you sick, I had to leave, as overcome by the fumes, they wouldn't give a refund. Overall disgusted. Edit: I did arrive at 6pm and when out for a couple of hours, when I got back I opened the ranchslider for a couple of hours, closing it to go to sleep, I wish I had left! That ammonia stench woke me up and I opened the ranch slider again, tried the after hours number three separate times and no one answered. Closed the ranch slider to try and go back to sleep and woke a short while later feeling g sick, I made the decision to left, I wished I had left earlier, but I'd paid and didn't have enough $ to pay for somewhere else. I was on the second day of a course tired and feeling ill, the stench was on my clothing which I had laid out - no iron or ironing board in the room, should of given me my money back like I asked, you are fraudulently advertising and I will be taking further action.
One night single room stay. Hotel was clean, had basic amenities and had a double and single bed. Just bit weird having a locked door through next room and could hear the other room otherwise, good for the stay for first time stay.
We were in room 20, the first impression should have been a warning...the room number on the door is held on with old sellotape. Once inside the room it was clear that it was old and in desperate need of an update, the door from bedroom to main room was stuck half open - we couldn’t budge it at all. There is a huge scorch mark on the carpet from an iron. Only a few implements available in the kitchen - no can opener..? As for the bathroom it’s a health hazard, I bought spray cleaner as you could feel and see the filth in the shower. The whole room needs a thorough cleaning as the general grime is revolting. The old repair work needs to be redone, slapping poly filler on the walls to make it look like update work is happening is pointless. The hotel receptionist was very sweet but seriously would not stay there again again.
Average motel. Nothing special, bed quite comfy. We got asked if we need more coffee and tea and got new towels each day. Not bad service, but old structure (furniture, toilet etc... and need clean in the outside)
Motel was horrible, the cleaning really needs a deep clean in carpet and bedding. Parking is Horrible and the price is too much when you can add a extra $20-30 for a hotel thats more decent. I gave 2 stars for the staff, very friendly Wasn't work taking pictures, so I have none
Dirty, noisy, out of date, the top of the oven hadn't even been wiped down. The wall in kitchen had black splashes of something over them, over priced. Didn't sleep for 2 nights noisey party the 1st night till around 4 in morning. Bed very uncomfortable. the only positive was the shower!!!! Will never stay there again
