   We phoned the morning before we decided to head to Auckland for New Year. They were so easy and accommodating to talk to. On our arrival at 3 p.m we were met with a smile and told that for the same price we were upgraded from a studio unit to a larger unit with a separate bedroom because they remembered from our previous yearly stays that my husband had a shoulder injury. So they put us into the room with a soft top pad to cater for this. Our host showed us the unit which was beautifully upgraded including double glazed windows and door. Noise from the busy road had been a problem but no longer.. you could barely hear any outside sound at all. John came over to welcome us when he arrived back... this motel is our stay of choice ... close to everywhere we need to go... wonderful genuinely friendly owners who ensure every stay is special. Thankyou both for yet another comfortable, welcoming, pleasant stay.. see you again midyear.

   Very clean and spacious for what we needed. Modern furniture, nice bathrooms and although close to motorway off ramp didn't really hear traffic. Nice people who ran the motel.

   We have had a few stays at this motel and we have to say it has always been beautifully clean, sufficiently appointed, comfortable and private. A little road noise at busy times but otherwise quiet and very pleasant to stay. Would def recommend.
