She's stayed here quite a number of times over the last 18months since we first got her. This family business came highly recommended to us by a friend and they are always quick to respond, hugely accommodating, friendly and we dont have to worry about a thing as we know our little girl is well loved & cared for here. “Carolyn the host of Country Cottages was so accomodating of my parents. The location was perfect and so private. The cottage was roomy, perfectly clean and had everything you could need. “Poco absolutely loved her stay at Pets At Whitford Spa & Stay! After a bad experience at another kennel (where she returned after 4 nights with bloody stool, coughing, and lethargy), I was very anxious about this stay. However, from the moment we were greeted by the staff, I felt reassured by the professionalism and warmth of the team. They have well-trained staff, experienced dog handlers, and a smooth, well-managed system. During her stay, I could see daily photos of her on Facebook, which was such a comfort! When I picked her up after 4 nights, I could tell she had a great time. Most importantly, her diet, bowel movements, and overall energy were completely normal when she returned home! “Petparks looked after my dog, who passed away earlier this year, on numerous occasions. Although he could be quite challenging behaviorally, Petparks understood him and managed him really well and he was always happy and relaxed about going there. Jennifer and Louise were always accommodating and gracious about booking changes, and drop off and pick up times. I never felt hurried when updating them about anything new each time I checked him in for a stay - I felt that they were genuinely interested in his welfare, and fond of him. I was able to enjoy complete peace of mind about him whenever I was away, and I recommend this place unreservedly. Plus Jennifer does the most fabulous grooming!”

“By far one of the best places I have stayed in years. travelling for work a lot, I get to stay at a lot of places and never really feel the need to leave a review one way or the other, but this place is worth a mention. From the first encounter with staff to the last, the experience is friendly and efficient, the room I stayed in was very spacious, extremely well appointed and super clean. Stayed in the middle of winter so noticed the double glazing and individual heat pumps in each room immediately as the apartment was cosy and warm throughout. Vehicles are securely parked underground with easy access to elevators and ample parking. There is a high level of security with elevators requiring room tags to access the correct floor adding additional comfort to lone travellers or people leaving and returning at odd hours. Finally - as an added benefit - you open the doors to the balcony and realise that there is small stream right behind the apartments that you can hear all the time. (Bit too cold during my stay to leave the balcony doors open over night, but in summer this must be the most tranquil experience ever) - I have advised my company, our corporate travel agency and my co-workers that this is by far the most outstanding property I have stayed in for a while and when in the neighbourhood, staying here is an absolute must.”

“My son and I over the years have returned to Orewa Kiwi Cabins time and time again. The 2 bed cabin is clean and ideal for our stay. We walk or cycle around Orewa as so central, 5 mins to the beach and to the heart of restaurants and shops. The owners have always looked after us, so come and stay, as it’s a terrific break away.”

“Clean and comfortable hostel with everything you'd need in the kitchen. The beautiful garden and balconys face a park and some city skyline. Great location for transport, felt safe and secure, everyone working there was incredibly helpful and informative!”

“Room was great, nice size, we weren't stepping on each other's toes. Cute little balcony/conservatory. Good walking distance to Go media stadium for concerts and events. We've booked again for another concert at eden park next year. Staff were super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for food nearby.”

“Very reasonable price for EXCEPTIONAL service. The team really really love my dog and take wonderful care of him. He gets so excited each time he arrives - even though he’s been attending for years. They’re very good at communication and have the dogs well-being at the centre of everything they do. And the staff are bubbly and fun even after hot days running after the dogs. Highly recommend.”

“Would highly recommend Furry Babies Day Care to any dog owner. We’ve got our puppy during the lock down period, he was once a very shy boy due to lack of socialisation. After been to Furry Babies Day Care a few weeks our beloved puppy is growing in to a wonderfully confident dog. They are treating him as their own baby. Professional and reliable. Very trustworthy!”

“This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.”

“I managed to get my 6yr old booked in for 2 of the 3 day camps available these holidays and she had an absolute blast! The team leaders are fantastic, knowledgeable and full of patience. The activities are varied skill levels and always another option available or challenge to be met, Kayaks, Archery Abseiling .Meals were included and a 9- 5 day was full of action- highly recommend for any kids wanting to get out of their comfort zone or city and come enjoy the coast.”

“Our wonderful experience at this lovely motel was just magnificent!!! Not only was it less than a 30 minutes drive from Manukau (where we reside) but it was so easy to find :-)). Our given room (no# 1) was clean, comfortable, quiet n worth the money we spent to stay here!!! Tony (the owner) helped us alot n was such an awesome host :-)) thank you!!! We'll definitely visit here again soon .... fyi, take your own alcohol as the nearest liquor store isn't near lol ..... tx”

“We had booked the beautiful Lavender Hill in October 2024 for our wedding accomodation. The first night I stayed with my bridal party, it was perfect as there was a room for everyone, we were able to relax and unwind, and had access to a kitchen and everything we needed, the detail that Trish thought of was perfect. We then were able to use it as a spot to get our bridal party photos taken on our wedding day, which was perfect, as it was only 5 minutes from our wedding venue. Cannot recommend Lavender Hill enough, it was great.”

“This place is so good. I stayed here while on a business trip and found the hotel perfect. Easy friendly check in, a lovely room with everything I needed. I ordered from the room service menu and was pleasantly surprised by the burger and chips, simple, cost effective, nourishing and just what I needed. “We booked 3 studio rooms for Hot wheels monster trucks event. Rooms are lovely, warm, comfy and clean. All very well, we hope for this as standard. AEPM told standard to hold their beer and boot it. Courtesy call day before event re: early road closures as we were traveling up to AK. Checked us in and allowed us parking from 11am. Warm and informative welcome with the gate to Eden park laughably close. I haven't even left yet and I'm side eyeing the experience as narniac in its unassuming, hidden gem state. Will be back without doubt.”

The layout was efficient and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location is also ideal—close to Auckland City’s attractions, dining, and entertainment, yet peaceful and quiet at night. A special mention to the front office reception team who were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and super helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Auckland!”
