   Absolutely incredible place to stay! This was one of our favorites in all of the north island. It’s so peaceful, so many birds singing you to sleep and waking you up in the morning with a smile on your face. We wished we’d stayed for more than one night here! Easily able to walk into the main part of town for meals/shopping. We will be back someday!

   The location was stunning! We spent a night in a tent with a kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Highly recommend booking this for your stay in Waiheke. It is a 10 min walk to the town on which you can walk on the beach.

   very nice place for couple who love the nature and not ready for a real camping. Peaceful tent with beautiful scenery. The wifi and cell phone signal not very stable but it's good if you want a place to escape.

   Fossil Bay Lodge is an amazing glamping spot! Everything was spotless, with all the amenities you could need. The bathrooms were impeccable, and the manager was incredibly attentive and helpful. It's the perfect place to relax, conveniently close to one of the best beaches on the island. Highly recommended!

   Really I cannot say enough about this place. I will try and keep it short and to the point. The tents are beautiful and a joy to stay in. The are bigger than you would expect and nicely decorated inside. The private bathroom and shower is convenient, clean, and comfortable. The common space is unique and equipped with everything you need. Good shared kitchen that is well equipped and fun to hang out in. The grounds are a pleasure to hang out in. We spend many hours reading, writing, and taking pictures of ducks. Beautiful Gardens which feel special to spend time in. The area is perfect for a quite get away that is conveniently located. It’s a 15 minute walk to town for groceries or any meals you need. But the lodge is removed enough that you are in a quite place that you could relax on all day. Beautiful walks just a few minutes down the road that hug the coast and have beautiful views/ private beaches the whole way. Mike, the host, was just the cherry on top. Very respectful and gives you your space but if you engage in conversation he is wonderful to talk to and swap stories. A friend after a very short time. Thanks Mike for everything! 10/10 for a thoughtful and relaxing getaway. Our only complain was we only had 3 days.

   Wonderful experience. Mike the manager was very helpful. Spent 2 nights sleep on the tent, with nature: ducks, birds, frogs, all if them were wonderful. If I happened to be in Waiheke one day, I’ll be back here.

   There was a lot of room for improvement in terms of facilities. The place was nice and clean. The tent was in a average condition with hot shower which was nice. If you are a light sleeper then stay away from this one. The frogs will keep you awake. Booked for two night but left after one because we couldnt sleep at all.

   We truly enjoyed our stay in the big tent with a private kitchen (tent 5). It was very cosy and quiet, what an experience. Mike was an excellent host. He took good care of us, explained everything and also recommended many places to see. We will be back someday in the future! Thanks for having us and for this lovely experience.

   Excellent stay. Some time spent in a glamour tent and then in a cabin. Loved both although in the summer months the cabin is cooler. The tranquility was perfect. A great place to unwind and yet if you wanted some excitement not very far to go to all that Waiheke has to offer. Excellent location. Great communal facilities. Friendly people. Highly recommend.
