“We booked 3 studio rooms for Hot wheels monster trucks event. Rooms are lovely, warm, comfy and clean. All very well, we hope for this as standard. AEPM told standard to hold their beer and boot it. Courtesy call day before event re: early road closures as we were traveling up to AK. Checked us in and allowed us parking from 11am. Warm and informative welcome with the gate to Eden park laughably close. I haven't even left yet and I'm side eyeing the experience as narniac in its unassuming, hidden gem state. Will be back without doubt.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Quest Mt Eden was outstanding! The apartment was incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and so well thought out—everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The layout was efficient and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location is also ideal—close to Auckland City’s attractions, dining, and entertainment, yet peaceful and quiet at night. A special mention to the front office reception team who were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and super helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Auckland!”

“Such a lovely stay. Rooms are comfortable and furnished well. So much more personality than a hotel or motel. Consider splurging for the room with the king bed and porch - it’s so nice to enjoy the city skyline at night. The manager was incredibly personable. A perfect option and so glad we found it.”

The historical home is beautiful, and the breakfast was so tasty! John was super knowledgable about NZ sights and points of interest- it was great to hear the story and history of the house as well!”

“My Labrador loves coming to dog club. They are doing something right because he is super tired when he comes home! The team here are very welcoming and friendly and put us at ease when our boy was a puppy. I love that they post on instagram throughout the day so you can see what the dogs are up to. Vinnie is excited to come visit again soon.”

“This was our second stay in the villas. We really like the somewhat remote location (but not too remote), the quiet and the beautiful view from the villas. On clear nights, the sky is incredibly as there are not many other locations around. There are lots of birds to watch, and some are not even very shy. The villas are well equipped, nicely decorated and we appreciated the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge during our current stay. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and provides wonderful bathroom products. We would definitely choose this location again. There are two things that might be worth improving: 1. The pool is always covered to avoid having to deal with falling leaves in the water. You have to uncover it any time you want to use it and cover it again after use. As a guest, this does not come across as very welcoming and it would be more convenient if someone to opened it in the morning and covered it at night. 2. If you stay for more than one or two nights, it would be nice if someone would exchange towels or bring extra towels and take out the trash. We did not expect that there was no service at all during our stay and this should be communicated more clearly.”

“Amazing hostel! The staff were incredible especially Diego, he recommended us walks and was very helpful during our stay. The hostel is right next to the beach and a bus stop so it’s easy to get around the island. Just a really nice vibe place!”

“Our wonderful experience at this lovely motel was just magnificent!!! Not only was it less than a 30 minutes drive from Manukau (where we reside) but it was so easy to find :-)). Our given room (no# 1) was clean, comfortable, quiet n worth the money we spent to stay here!!! Tony (the owner) helped us alot n was such an awesome host :-)) thank you!!! We'll definitely visit here again soon .... fyi, take your own alcohol as the nearest liquor store isn't near lol ..... tx”

“If you go down the steps and onto the pathway you will find a amazing miniature waterfall and if you come at night you will also find the glowworms just make sure you bring your torch”

“For me Kennedy Point Vineyard produces not only some of the best wine on Waiheke, but in NZ. Even better, they are organic! Waiheke's temperate maritime climate has resulted in few vineyards dare to go organic, so for me this alone deserves applause! Sharing the Syrah and Hauraki with anyone I can. Big thanks and I look forward to seeing what the future brings for Kennedy Point Vineyard.”

“I have had 2 positive experiences at Pet Doctors with Linda. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout Draco’s consult for his recurring skin allergies. Not only was she thorough in examining him and explaining possible causes and treatments, but she also made sure to check in with me, answering all my questions clearly and patiently. “We rented a property for three weeks while our house was being renovated. It was a lovely wee home that met all our needs, was in a great location and was well appointed. The property managers were very responsive and friendly and I would absolutely recommend this company!”

“Nice place and easy to get to from the motorway if your heading south but a bit tricky to get to if your heading north. We decided to try this pet motel as our usual pet motel was full and it ended up being cheaper. The owners are lovely people and they know what they are doing. However one downside is if your dropping of a dog and a cat you have to go to different entrances. However they also don't have eftpos but they will take cash or give you a bank transfer slip. Will happily use them again.”

“My wife & I enjoyed staying 3 nights. Tina the owner was really lovely to deal with making the booking & arrival pleasant. Tina has created a cosy lounge area to relax in with a warm fire going. The bedrooms with there large beds are tastefully set out with views across Auckland on the top floors. It was a treat to stay hear, easy to find & convenient to all amenities only 20ish minutes from the city. We would return here if needing to stay in Auckland again”

“John was an excellent host and the place was incredible. The views were absolutely epic and we enjoyed visiting the beach and dunes. If you’re looking for a remote area to stay, this is it. It is about an hour from Auckland. I recommend visiting Rotorua, as well as PIha beach if you have the time. So awesome. I’ll probably never be back because I live 16 hours away via airplane but the memories I had were once in a lifetime. Thanks John, I hope to see you one day again.
