After going through two previous property managers, including one from a major real estate firm, it lead us to the decision of handing our properties to a specialist property management firm. With our relationship with Residential Rentals lasting close to 10 long years, we have never looked back. We sleep easy at night knowing that our properties are in safe hands.”

“OMG! What an experience! We left our German Shepherd in a pet lodge for the second time and first time with Fairfield Pet Lodge. We are super impressed with the Fairfield: facilities are huge, everything looks super professional. We could see that our dog absolutely enjoyed his stay, he was even washed and brushed - we have never seen our dog so bright and fluffy. The only question I have is who was on holiday - we or the dog? Looks like the dog...))) Will definitely be back!”

“My wife & I enjoyed staying 3 nights. Tina the owner was really lovely to deal with making the booking & arrival pleasant. Tina has created a cosy lounge area to relax in with a warm fire going. The bedrooms with there large beds are tastefully set out with views across Auckland on the top floors. It was a treat to stay hear, easy to find & convenient to all amenities only 20ish minutes from the city. We would return here if needing to stay in Auckland again”

“Had an AMAZING time. I never post reviews but I have to say their staff was super friendly, my partner and I loved the kayaks available and the bay nearby was perfect for a swim when the tide was in. The accomodation was very clean, had a great set up with a huge fan on the room to keep cool in the summer. Waiting for another available date to open up and will definitely be booking again!! Also..catching the bus to Countdown and Oneroa (the main beach and town) was really easy, with the bus stop only being a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend :))”

“Can't recommend Critter Creek enough. They are so good with our blue heeler and understand her 'ball possessiveness' and other foibles. We always know we are leaving her in safe, true animal loving hands :)”

“We stayed for just 1 night and it was really amazing. Qi is super friendly and welcoming. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. Bedroom had a kettle and mini fridge available for use. Slippers, toothbrush and conditioner shampoo were also included. Breakfast was delicious and right on time. Definitely worth it!”

“Having just spent the weekend at Quail Lodge with my Mum, I simply can't give it a high enough rating! Starting with the warm welcome, the kindness that hosts Sam and Hamish showed was second to none. The accommodation was superb and it felt like we'd been wrapped up in a luxurious big hug. The food was exceptional, Sam is an incredible cook and nothing was too much trouble. Everything including the beautiful location and scenery was truly a memorable and lasting experience. “Can’t recommend Marino Ridge enough! Caroline and Peter are amazing hosts. They’re very knowledgeable about life on Waiheke Island and gave us lots of helpful recs for our whole trip through New Zealand. Marino Ridge has incredible views in all directions and the rooms are very comfortable. It’s a great location, with easy access to the ferry, hiking trails, and Oneroa Village.”

“I want to thank the team at Top Dogs Day Stay for the recent grooming they did on Stormy and Benji. It started with a consultation as to what I thought needed doing, and then they gave some ideas and I left them to it. When I picked them up afterwards they looked very smart. Their hair was trimmed to perfection, their ears were nice and clean, and their claws nicely trimmed. They also smelt wonderful. Thanks so much team; you are amazing!!”

“We loved spending 4 nights at Wild Thyme! Our hosts were gracious and helpful, with Bruce picking us up at the ferry and delivering us back to the ferry at the end of our stay. We recommend spending a day touring wineries with Jules. It was also easy to walk into town from Wild Thyme, or catch at bus at the bottom of the hill. The bus took us to additional wineries!”

“Leaving our lab with Cecilia & team was a smooth and easy process, giving us peace and mind during Lulu’s recovery. Lulu recently had a TPLO, and we were unable to care for her on the property. She’s been with The Doggery for the last 8-weeks. During this time they’ve cared for her remarkably well, helping her heal, with weight loss, kept on top of her medications, facilitated vet trips all the way to Franklin(!), and provided clear/concise updates on the wellbeing of Lulu. We could not have asked for a more effective recovery facility, and definitely know she was loved the entire time.”

“WOW - not only is the Lodge beautiful and relaxing, but the hosts are equally as charming. Our stay just happened to be on one of the most gorgeous days of the year, still the ambiance and views would be just as nice had the weather not been exceptional. We can't rave enough about the location...simply wonderful. What a nice way to spend a week-day. The food cooked by our host Gene, was first rate, and the friendly atmosphere added to an all-round superb mini-break. Thank you again for such a lovely visit... hope we'll be back. “All the consistent 5 star reviews don't lie. These guys have the right attitude, and I've worked with a load of kennels for my babies over 20 years all over the world. They possess a common sense balance between affection and responsible discipline, socialising, exercising, playing and relaxing in the right atmosphere tailored especially for your pooch. Our dogs journeyed 30,000km from Spain and arrived at their happy place here. I can't thank Tanja, Mark, their family and team enough for their attentive, kind and competent support. “What an amazing experience we had at Kaitiaki Lodge. From the views while sitting back relaxing on the deck to the serenity of the bush walks and orchestra of the bird life, Kaitiaki was an escape worthwhile. The kitchen was a favourite to entertain from and well appointed. We will definitely be back for another stay in the near future.”

“This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.”
