   I booked this motel for my family who were visiting Auckland to spend Christmas with me, and I was hoping to find somewhere close to the ocean, as we all love the beach. From the moment I made the booking, the motel owner contacted me and suggested a suite with separate sleeping areas, which was perfect for our family and gave us extra space. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful — they even allowed early access so I could decorate the suite for Christmas and surprise my family. The motel is just a few minutes from Kohimarama beach and a lovely café, both of which we visited many times during our stay. This place is incredibly welcoming and relaxed, truly a home away from home. We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning again and again. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was a wonderful experience, and we will always cherish the special memories we made here. Thank you so much xx

   Great little motel with nice balcony views towards the beach. Helpful tour from the owner of the room. Comfy bed with basic decor but very clean. A few nice places to eat nearby or walk down to Mission bay for lots of eateries and bars. Easy bus to city centre every 15 mins, just tap on and off.

   Friendly, quiet, and clean, close to Kohi Beach. We have stayed here often. Perfect for couples, or for families as you can fit up to 4 per unit. The owners are so friendly and helpful!

   My partner and I stayed in this Motel last week for one night. The lady at the reception was super nice and even gave us a bigger room than the one we booked! We had a great time, the room was clean and sitting on the lovely balcony with the beautiful view in the garden was very nice. We’ll definitely come back!

   Room 7 was not the one shown in the picture when we booked on line, really old and dated, black mould stuff in the cupboards, weird stains on the carpet and the beds were all damp and itchy feeling. We were given too little milk to make hot drinks for all 4 of us, there were only 3 mismatched teaspoons and two mismatched bowls in the place. (When we had to book and pay per person.) Bathroom extractor was broken and unit had a tiny hotwater tank. Room was really cold and damp with only one heater situated in the lounge, the electric blanket on the queen (not king as advertised) bed didn’t work on one side. Pillows smelled of smoke despite smoke free rules. There was no sky tv as advertised only Freeview channels and a memory stick of old movies in the tv. Also found ‘rubbish’ beside the bed… Yucky experience. When we complained next morning (we were really tired found dinner and went to bed) we were given a $20 discount. It is however fairly close to Kelly Taltons aquarium and a short walk from mission bay. Would never stay there again and warning all our friends not to stay there!

   Great location! Flat very short walk to Kohi Beach. Very convenient motel just far enough away from the city. I have stayed several times in different rooms. The new beds are very comfortable, and good linen - slept really well. Bathrooms have been updated and extremely clean. All rooms had a simple kitchen space ... useful if you don't want to go round the corner to try the local restaurants .... fast internet and tv ... nice outlook ... staff are very helpful ... parking is easy, either in the grounds or on the street ... it's a place that attracts regulars and return clients ...

   Location is great, just near the beach. The staff wasn't very present though helpful when required. The people there were great - a nice community. The rooms are decently nice with a small kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom though the windows in each area aren't but proof. There is no air conditioning but there is a heater. I enjoyed my stay.

   Yes its old, yes its a bit dated, but the room was very clean and spacious, linen good quality and fresh. Plenty of of routes to Auckland City from here without using major roads, and a great sandy beach a stones throw away. A quiet hotel away from major roads and traffic.

   +s Friendly prompt service/fantastic location (100m from deli/cafes/restaurants/bars/beach), very accommodating staff for groups/spansh mision style arched porch with seating and beautiful tropical garden views. - s poor Wi-Fi reception/very limited crockery and kitchen stuff/ old unit, tidy but not flash/dirty carpet and dining chairs/no door mats/some sliders are hard to open and lock/noises and thumps from unit above. = loved it. Would come again with family and friends but not by myself.***
