“This is an awesome eco-friendly hostel, the owner (Ivan) is a legend and he does so many good things for the nature of Waiheke Island. He suggested things for us to do that we wouldn't have known about - we got to help out the local community and got to meet some truly inspirational people. We didn't want to leave!”

“Phasma loves to come to Bethells Farmstay OR "Doggie Disneyland" which our 9 year old son refers to it as because of all the fun we know she has. She's stayed here quite a number of times over the last 18months since we first got her. This family business came highly recommended to us by a friend and they are always quick to respond, hugely accommodating, friendly and we dont have to worry about a thing as we know our little girl is well loved & cared for here. “This place is amazing. Best accommodation we've stayed so far. View is perfect, the house itself is flawless, and they provide everything that you could think of. Never get to use a proper espresso machine during our trip anywhere before. Capsule was usually the closest to it ever. Gas bbq is also very good and clean. We had an amazing time. Appreciate it, will definitely recommend it to others, and ourselves will go back if we have the chance to”

Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but Lindy is an incredible host – she is bright and bubbly and was very accommodating during the planning stages as well as on the day. She goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly and genuinely cares and wants you to have a great experience. Being able to stay the night and wake up for the first time as husband and wife in the very spot you got married the day before also adds to whole experience, we didn't want to leave! Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how perfect it all was, so if you're looking for a venue & host that will make your day unforgettable, look no further. “I managed to get my 6yr old booked in for 2 of the 3 day camps available these holidays and she had an absolute blast! The team leaders are fantastic, knowledgeable and full of patience. The activities are varied skill levels and always another option available or challenge to be met, Kayaks, Archery Abseiling .Meals were included and a 9- 5 day was full of action- highly recommend for any kids wanting to get out of their comfort zone or city and come enjoy the coast.”

Lovely decor, very warm and well stocked. The property was very safe and secure. It was easy to locate and access. The information provided was excellent and the property managers were very responsive when we had questions. We had a very comfortable stay and will certainly try and stay here again when we are next travelling to Auckland.”

“We stayed at Fernhill Cottages for a month while in between houses. Cosy and comfortable and we were able to keep our furbabies with us which was such a relief. “Magic! Loved this place. ❤️ Right by Oneroa village, we strolled everywhere. Our room was pristine, quiet, roomy and had beach-vibe decor to match the ocean view. Lovely bathroom and kitchen had great amenities. Very comfortable bed. Felt safe and private.”

“Petparks looked after my dog, who passed away earlier this year, on numerous occasions. Although he could be quite challenging behaviorally, Petparks understood him and managed him really well and he was always happy and relaxed about going there. Jennifer and Louise were always accommodating and gracious about booking changes, and drop off and pick up times. I never felt hurried when updating them about anything new each time I checked him in for a stay - I felt that they were genuinely interested in his welfare, and fond of him. I was able to enjoy complete peace of mind about him whenever I was away, and I recommend this place unreservedly. Plus Jennifer does the most fabulous grooming!”

“I cannot say enough superlatives about our stay at the Parnell Garden Suite. Susan is the most gracious host and has thought of every single detail that a traveler may need. We were pleasantly surprised with a well-stocked kitchen with numerous breakfast items that lasted all four days of our stay. The unit is immaculate and decorated in a very modern fashion. Susan was communicative and accommodating. She lives right above the property and very easy to contact with questions. We stayed in over 8 different properties during our stay in New Zealand and Susan's place was one of our favorites!”

“This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.”
