We had one of the best dinner experiences here. The service was incredible and the food was heavenly. We were lucky to have a table on the balcony with beautiful sea views. The battered oysters were fresh and flavoursome and the crayfish linguine was delicious. My husband had the pork and he said it was one of the best meals heβs ever had. The restaurant was accommodating with a couple of modifications to suit our tastes. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful lunch at the Oyster Inn. The food was delicious and the service was great. Highlights were the crudo, so fresh and tasty and the crayfish linguine was wonderful. Hubby really enjoyed the pork chop too, great serving size. Our table was on the deck, definitely ask for a table outside so you can enjoy the beautiful views over the ocean. I've been wanting to come here for a while and I'm so glad we finally made it. We'll definitely be back.

Friendly service, professional standards, and an interesting menu, beautifully presented dishes and freshly shucked Oyster is a must. Here , you can enjoy the activities at the sea, while sipping your preferable beverages and at the same time having conversations with your friends and family.... It is Priceless! Sadly, we only have few hours stay on the island, seems everything needs to be "rush" .. we enjoyed the food and hospitality and definitely will come back from across the Tasman sea.

This is our second timing dining at The Oyster Inn... and it once again did not disappoint! Our meals were amazing around the table... I was recommended the crudo and it was absolutely beautiful... followed by the Crayfish Linguine which was also fab! Around the table our group was super happy with all our meals and the drinks were pretty good too! But deserving of special mention, and I feel terrible for not catching his name, was our lovely Italian waiter. He honestly made it feel like we were dining with a friend as he was so helpful, fun and attentive! What an asset he is... thank you so much for a great evening!

Couldnβt have asked for a more perfect experience! The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, the food was completely spectacular! We ordered the sharing menu of a red wine, beef pasta, tiramisu and focaccia and it was tremendous! The best pasta weβve ever had cooked perfectly al dente in the tastiest sauce that paired beautifully with the focaccia and wine! I also got a super tasty salted caramel espresso martini that was expertly crafted served in a chilled glass. Then the tiramisu was so light and not too sweet, the perfect end to a perfect dining experience! The tables were clean, the view was perfect, the music was nice and not too loud, it was nicely busy and popular but the staff made sure our table felt special! Could not recommend this place enough!!

Took visiting family to Waiheke and knew from previous visits that the Oyster Inn was the place to take them for lunch. The food and service was amazing with perfect recommendation of wines to match. The Local Oysters are definitely worth it and all of our mains were truly stunning. A great spot to visit for a nice lunch or dinner overlooking the amazing scenery.

This review is referring to the restaurant. It was one of the best meals I've ever eaten! The service was amazing and the staff is so friendly. I wanted to go back to Waiheke Island the next day just to eat there again. Everything ingredient was super fresh. Craft cocktails are fabulous as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Four of us dined in the restaurant. View is wonderful, service very friendly but slow at times, although restaurant was pretty busy so wait was acceptable. Food was delicious and beautifully presented and there was a an excellent range of drinks, including zero alcohol beers. Lots of wine options by the glass, but alcohol was pretty expensive. Our major dislike was the number of dogs in the restaurant. We had two mid-large dogs on one side and and a small quiet dog on the other. One of the big dogs kept barking and it was on a fairly long leash tied to a pole supporting the balcony roof. Both of our friends are nearing 90 and one is quite unsteady walking. The dog went to meet our friend as he arrived, and it could have caused a very nasty fall. All four of us love dogs and we have dogs of our own but I donβt think having them in a restaurant is acceptable. Will definitely go back to the restaurant but will check out the dog situation first.

The staff were great and so was the food. We were fortunate to have had a spot on the deck on a beautiful day. I particularly recommend the crudo, although we enjoyed a number of the seafood dishes - but I really want to go back and try the slow roasted shoulder of lamb too....

The Oyster is lovely. The vibe is great and the waiter was so sweet, patient and helpful and also quite fun. The decor and locale are excellent. Wine selection good. Only thing that let our experience down was the main course. 2 of 3 of our party had the pork. It was not as tasty as expected plus we both commented that the expectation was that the pork would be a bit crispy on the outside. Salad was great. Potatoes excellent.
