“Cannot say enough about this wonderful condo. Very clean, comfortable & well appointed. Spectacular view of the harbor. Perfect location, close to everything you want to enjoy in Auckland. Great restaurants close by. Right next to the cruise ship pier & the ferries to the outer islands. One small issue was addressed immediately. Highest recommendation.”

“Room was great, nice size, we weren't stepping on each other's toes. Cute little balcony/conservatory. Good walking distance to Go media stadium for concerts and events. We've booked again for another concert at eden park next year. Staff were super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for food nearby.”

“My rottweiler Nox has been a regular at the Dog Den for 2 years. She is very well looked after by the all the team, as they are all excellent at what they do. She gets to socialize with all different breads, she is mentally stimulated through the day, with awesome pack leadership by the staff. The full day package suits our needs and expectations, and she comes home well exercised and very happy. If you are thinking about a daycare facility for your fur-baby I highly recommend the Dog Den. The best decision we made for our girl.”

“Would highly recommend Furry Babies Day Care to any dog owner. We’ve got our puppy during the lock down period, he was once a very shy boy due to lack of socialisation. After been to Furry Babies Day Care a few weeks our beloved puppy is growing in to a wonderfully confident dog. They are treating him as their own baby. Professional and reliable. Very trustworthy!”

“My son and I over the years have returned to Orewa Kiwi Cabins time and time again. The 2 bed cabin is clean and ideal for our stay. We walk or cycle around Orewa as so central, 5 mins to the beach and to the heart of restaurants and shops. The owners have always looked after us, so come and stay, as it’s a terrific break away.”

“Very reasonable price for EXCEPTIONAL service. The team really really love my dog and take wonderful care of him. He gets so excited each time he arrives - even though he’s been attending for years. They’re very good at communication and have the dogs well-being at the centre of everything they do. And the staff are bubbly and fun even after hot days running after the dogs. Highly recommend.”

The wine tour with Nicky (the host) was equally amazing! A truly great way to see the island and spend a day getting to know about the delicious grape juice this island has to offer. “This place is so good. I stayed here while on a business trip and found the hotel perfect. Easy friendly check in, a lovely room with everything I needed. I ordered from the room service menu and was pleasantly surprised by the burger and chips, simple, cost effective, nourishing and just what I needed. “For me Kennedy Point Vineyard produces not only some of the best wine on Waiheke, but in NZ. Even better, they are organic! Waiheke's temperate maritime climate has resulted in few vineyards dare to go organic, so for me this alone deserves applause! Sharing the Syrah and Hauraki with anyone I can. “We had booked the beautiful Lavender Hill in October 2024 for our wedding accomodation. The first night I stayed with my bridal party, it was perfect as there was a room for everyone, we were able to relax and unwind, and had access to a kitchen and everything we needed, the detail that Trish thought of was perfect. We then were able to use it as a spot to get our bridal party photos taken on our wedding day, which was perfect, as it was only 5 minutes from our wedding venue. Cannot recommend Lavender Hill enough, it was great.”

“Amazing hostel! The staff were incredible especially Diego, he recommended us walks and was very helpful during our stay. The hostel is right next to the beach and a bus stop so it’s easy to get around the island. Just a really nice vibe place!”

Consider splurging for the room with the king bed and porch - it’s so nice to enjoy the city skyline at night. The manager was incredibly personable. A perfect option and so glad we found it.”

The layout was efficient and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location is also ideal—close to Auckland City’s attractions, dining, and entertainment, yet peaceful and quiet at night. A special mention to the front office reception team who were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and super helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Auckland!”

“Sooty Sue is a smart and very stubborn dog. When she’s in the mood she is co-operative, when she’s not well …… you get the picture. She must always feel co-operative when she’s at Jolly Dogs for a groom! Not sure how they do this, but I’m a-taking it. I know this because her lack of co-operation has left her ears and groin and auxiliary areas clipped and bleeding, but it has NEVER happened a Jolly Dogs. We also like her to have a cut that reflects her dufus nature, and her Jolly Dogs Mohawk is perfect.”

“My Labrador loves coming to dog club. They are doing something right because he is super tired when he comes home! The team here are very welcoming and friendly and put us at ease when our boy was a puppy. I love that they post on instagram throughout the day so you can see what the dogs are up to. Vinnie is excited to come visit again soon.”

“We booked 3 studio rooms for Hot wheels monster trucks event. Rooms are lovely, warm, comfy and clean. All very well, we hope for this as standard. AEPM told standard to hold their beer and boot it. Courtesy call day before event re: early road closures as we were traveling up to AK. Checked us in and allowed us parking from 11am. Warm and informative welcome with the gate to Eden park laughably close. I haven't even left yet and I'm side eyeing the experience as narniac in its unassuming, hidden gem state. Will be back without doubt.”

“Very grateful to Creature Comforts for looking after our two doggos for nearly 4 weeks, one of them was recovering from an infected wound on drop off. Unfortunately they’re not too active on social media so we couldn’t stalk our dogs while overseas, but communication from the start was great and they reached out to us when they had concerns and contacted the local vet appropriately. We appreciated how food is included in the lodging and the dogs were washed on pick up. Will definitely use them again in the future”
