5-Star Stay at Fernz Motel and Apartments – Highly Recommended! We recently stayed at Fernz Motel and Apartments for 7 nights in a two bedroom, two bathroom city view apartment, and our experience was nothing short of fantastic. The view from our balcony was absolutely incredible—overlooking the city, it was a stunning sight both day and night. The apartment itself was spacious, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. It included a full-size fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and even heated floors and towel rails in both bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning in the main living area kept the space warm and pleasant. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with a friendly staff member who made us feel right at home. Communication throughout our stay was excellent; we received an email mid-week confirming the timing of a scheduled full clean, which we appreciated as part of maintaining the apartment's high standard. Daily housekeeping kept the apartment fresh with new towels and replenished supplies when needed. The apartment was also very quiet, both day and night, and felt extremely safe and secure. It’s in a great location within walking distance to local shops, and on-site parking was a convenient bonus. We had absolutely no issues during our stay and truly loved every minute. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Fernz Motel and Apartments to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the area.
Fernz Motel & Apartments is a good option for a one-night stay. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and overall fairly clean. Free parking is a plus. On the downside, the bathroom and toilet were quite small, the shower had low water pressure, and the bed was hard with no headboard and cheap, uncomfortable pillows. Comfortable enough for a short stay, but with a few compromises.
2nd visit here, nice apartments with kitchenette and parking. I'll be staying again. Location is great plenty of food options, a good sized supermarket and a couple of gyms.
The area is gorgeous with a plenty of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. The service was great and the apartment was clean and has everything that you may need for a short period.
Loved my stay! My room was beautiful, clean and had everything I needed. It was also a short walk to restaurants in Birkenhead
Ideal location adjoining central Birkenhead, so handy to cafes and shops, bus stops, motorway link roads etc. It's a newish development constructed in 2 blocks. Parking is underneath each block. Room-size varies and are compact as such but have all you need.
FERNZ is our preferred accommodation when myself or my staff are needing to travel to Auckland. Their Hospitality is 2nd to none and we have always had the most pleasurable of stays. Jan is so kind and lovely to deal with. She organised our corporate group of 38 staff members flying in from the UK, Australia and Canada over 5 days, and made it so easy and stress-free. She really went above & Beyond for us!! The rooms are clean & cozy, location is perfect with great restuatants nearby, and it feels really safe. Crossing paths with the cleaners and receptionist on occasion, they were always smiling and cheerful. It is such a warm and welcoming place to stay. Thanks FERNZ & thanks Jan! See you all again soon!
