Mudbrick Vineyard was absolutely incredible. The views were breathtaking and made the experience unforgettable. We enjoyed a margarita, a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc, and a few bites, and everything was amazing. The wine was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, and the scenery alone is worth the visit. A must-stop if youβre in New Zealand!

Fantastic Christmas lunch for the team! We started off with the tastings in the Glasshouse. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the wines were great - though the overall consensus was the Pinot Gris was a bit too sweet. Then we had lunch in the main restaurant. I had the Eye Fillet for my main and the chocolate dessert. You can see in the pictures - both were well presented and delicious! The weather was perfect too, which helps

We went with a group primarily for wine tasting. Amazing location. Beautiful setting. The person we did wine tasting with was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. His "personal appreciation" comment stayed with me that when one person finds a wine really great and other does not, it's personal appreciation. We did not try food here but the restaurant and the food looked really awesome. If you are on the island I would recommend it for lunch or dinner.

We had the most fantastic experience at Mudbrick - I highly recommend visiting! Brooke did our tasting, she was so friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. The wine was absolutely delicious (we went for the βWaiheke Tastingβ and we loved all four of the wines). We sat outside, the views were incredible across the island and Auckland in the background. The waiting staff were friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and so aesthetically pleasing. The foccacia was the best Iβve ever tasted!

Visited today primarily for a tasting. The lady in the cellar door was extremely welcoming and gave us a delightful and informative experience. The wines were wonderful and the environment is superb. Some negatives: 1. We were encouraged to taste our wines on the terrace above the cellar door. It was a really nice spot but the music was being played at disco levels which made it impossible to enjoy the wine in a relaxing way. The whole environment lends itself to enjoying a nice wine in a peaceful environment with great views, but sadly the techno-disco spoilt this. After the wine tasting we went to the newly opened Robyn's Glasshouse for another glass of wine and a snack. We ordered the Charcuterie sharing board (almost 70 NZD) and we're really disappointed when a tiny board of food was delivered to us. TBH it was barely enough for one person, let alone two. The bread sticks were stale/soft so we politely complained to the waitress who, rather than apologising and replacing them, said she'd "talk to the chef about the issue". Eventually 4 new bread sticks were provided that were OK, but we left Mudbrick still hungry. For the cost I would have expected a lot more food and a more friendly type of service.

The most stunning venue and delicious food, thoughtful service (it was my birthday which they didn't know and when they found out they added some very nice and much appreciated touches). The meal was exquisite and the venue a fairyland. We were there at night so can't comment on the views, but I very much hope to go back.

We had a truly magical meal at Mudbrick. It was a romantic, intimate setting. The service was superb with just the right amount of personal flair. The food was imaginative, indulgent, and arrived swiftly. I have wanted to come here for years and am thrilled to find it was such a delight. As a Southerner, the open fire added that certain special something to our evening. Thank you, Mudbrick! We will definitely be back.

Was here on our holiday during last Xmas. We saw a YouTube video of 2 guys from the US doing a feature on Waiheke Island and visiting this winery so we decided to give it a try on our outing to Waiheke. The Hop-On-Hop-Off bus took us directly to the winery which was really convenient. We expected to be a tourist trap for that reason since it was on the bus route but the wine and food blew us away! This place was legit! We enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant so much, we decided to return the next day for dinner which happened to be X'mas Eve and setting our expectation low since it was so late in making a booking. However the staff was so accommodating and squeezed us in! They also have a casual outdoor eatery (Bistro) aside from the restaurant which we would give it a try if we ever return. It was a stunning winery with a panoramic view of the gulf. We loved the wines so much we brought back couple bottles back with us to California. Do visit here!

Everything was spectacular! We asked for (when we booked), and were given, a table right by the doors in the restaurant, with an uninterrupted view. It was even more magical when the weather warmed a little and the doors were opened. The food was excellent, and caters so well for those of us who have dietary requirements, and the service was attentive but not intrusive. We drank Mudbrick wines which were all delicious. I'd come here every week if I could!
