“Had lovely meal here over for weekend to visit family”
“An exceptional night club, we always receive amazing service from the Bar Staff and Security! We always have such an amazing time here. Listening and dancing to whatever DJ they have on! Highly recommend on your next night out!”
“In the 25 years I've lived in New Zealand, I've never experienced hotel service like yesterday. When I requested a room change because the room was a little uncomfortable, the hotel manager was happy to accommodate me. They replaced our room and also split the single bad and adjusted it to the twin bed. All the staff were friendly, the staff serving breakfast in the restaurant were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Also, when I slept at the hotel last night, it was so comfortable and quiet. Thank you to all the hotel staff.”
“I recently stayed at Nomads Capital Backpackers – Wellington and I felt truly at home. From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome I received, especially from Isabel at reception, made all the difference. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and seemed genuinely invested in making my stay comfortable. The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with cozy communal areas that feel inviting, a lovely courtyard, and a fully equipped kitchen that feels like a shared living room rather than a hostel. Everything is clean, well maintained, and the vibe is relaxed yet vibrant. Best of all, it’s affordable without compromising on quality or friendliness. Whether you're arriving solo or with friends, looking to explore Wellington on a budget or just want a welcoming place to rest, this is it. I wholeheartedly recommend Nomads Capital to anyone in Wellington, or anywhere in New Zealand really, who’s searching for budget accommodation with a friendly heart, warm smiles, and a truly homey atmosphere. Thank you, especially Isabel, for making this such a memorable stay!”
“Move over Maccas and Burger King. Wendy’s food is tastier and fresher. Can’t find any fault and staff don’t treat you like your an interruption to their whinging and gossip sessions. My new favourite fast food.”
“Awesome staff, loads to choose from, shop is always well presented and warm!”
“the 5 stars are not about the quality of the food (it is standard mcdonals), its about the setting and staff. the McDonalds in taupo has a nice playground with an aircraft in the middle, the staff is friendly and we got our food quite fast!”
“Best dairy owners ever! So kind and helpful ! Genuine aswell . Highly recommend !”
“Already seeing a huge difference after just a few lessons, my little boy loves his swimming lessons and if we miss for any reason we are able to do a makeup. Warm water great team.”
“This place is great as both a restaurant and a club, great atmosphere and music, would highly recommend”
“One of the best Vindaloos I've ever tasted and I've had quite a few, both from takeaway places and several higher end dine-in restaurants. I've also tried making my own several times but I can't quite crack the code! The person who served me was also very polite and friendly. She even laughed at a lame joke I made after she warned me about how the Vindaloo would be quite spicy.”
“Vegetarian options! Had a delicious lunch here. Two of us ordered Jasmine Tea, Twice Cooked Tofu, Stir Fried Potato & Capsicum, and a medium bowl of rice. We finished everything and felt good full, not too full. Their tofu is locally sourced! It was fried, puffy, soft, and soaked up sauce excellently. They have soy sauce, white pepper, and chilli oil available, too. The large menu offers Cambodian,Thai, Chinese, and some other cuisines. Lots of dishes non-Chinese people will know, and some you won’t! We ordered dishes from the Chinese menu and I’d recommend both. A Note on Meat — if you’re vegetarian or vegan make sure to ask for no meat, egg, and/or dairy. Not all dish names mention meat but lots of Chinese dishes often include meat even tofu dishes. The restaurant’s interior is the Shabby Chic I adore of Chinese Restaurants in New Zealand — lanterns, large tables with lazy susan’s, photos of menu items on the wall etc. Perfect!”
“Most often in this day and age it is hard to find A++ customer service, I'd like to give a huge shout out to Caitlyn at The Base, she went the absolute extra mile to help me out, succesfully, confidently and cheerfully!!! Novo, remember this and look after her! 2 other staff at Novo also tried hard to help, they also are worth mentioning, shame I don't know their names, 1 was at Manukau the other was Sylvia Park, shame that they couldnt send the shoes to Hamilton, they weren't allowed to, when they really wanted to! Novo, a sale is a sale. Think about it Novo. I tried calling Novo for help, no answer, no replies to my emails even. I want to thank these 3 people. But Caitlyn, is the one who pulled it together to make it happen! She's 1 in a million. THANK YOU CAITLYN. P.S I LOVE the Novo footwear, Novo is second to none for price, style and originality!! Cheers, Rody”
“This was literally the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. They even had a bath tub in the room. Fantastic view of city streets. Great 24 x 7 service, and wasn’t asked for a deposit on the room. And awesome free secure parking.”
“This is a pleasant surprise! Very good value for money, near to all facilities like supermarket, restaurants and intercity. Recommended”
“Love the service in this restaurant : I think this is a very authentic Chinese restaurant in Dunedin. There is a buffet and a la carte. The Sichuan cuisine tastes very good. The pickled fish tastes authentic. My family and I come here often. The service is also very good.”
“This is by far the best KFC around Christchurch. They absolutely pump out orders the drive thru can be full spilling out onto the street and it still moves fast. I don't think I've ever had an issue in the year I've been coming here.”
“At Christchurch Airport. I bought a takeaway coffee Very good.”
“Absolutely love this place. Would eat there every day if I could. They make the best chicken kebabs ever. Especially the young lady. Always very clean. Thanks heaps to the wonderful staff, and best of luck for the future.”
“I've been ordering fish and chips here quite frequently and I can't stop coming back, the food is just delicious and the food is ready much much faster than other takeaway shops, amazing food and amazing service and even better prices. :)”
“Great value of my money! The big size can easily feed two ppl. Batter fish is fresh and crunchy. If you want to eat healthy, choose broccoli and pan-fried chicken. If you like spicy, don’t forget the chilly oil which is the game changer.”
“I used to skip this restaurant because of its low rating, but it completely surprised me — I was wrong! This is my second time trying their dim sum, and I felt compelled to write a review. The portions are generous with plenty of fillings, and everything tastes fresh and absolutely delicious. The salted egg yolk custard bun is a must-try, and the polo char siew bun were tasty. ( Sorry, the photos of the buns weren’t attached.)”
“Good day. Again I would love to give feedback on my experience at Tauranga Emergency Department on Monday, 3rd March 2025. I hurt my right knee with fall a while ago and doing exercises I must have aggravated the knee. The pain became so unbearable that my husband decided to take me to ED. From the lovely, calm young ladies at the reception, to all those who played their roll checking my knee with an x-ray to the lovely Jackie physiotherapist, to the staff in the corridors - so, so friendly. It's just so amazing. Please can you pass on my feedback to ED for me. I bless them all again with success and happiness. Kind regards Gilda Jenkin”
“We got there super late at night but we're greeted with absolutely kindness and helpfulness. Room was very clean, well laid out as someone else has mentioned and affordable. Best part, the bed was SO comfy! Would definitely stay again if need be.”
“I can’t speak to other peoples experience but my own thoughts are that booking, visiting, and receiving two doses of the vaccine was all seamless, easy, and low stress. Thanks PHP”
“Absolutely loved our time at the hot spring pool! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The 80s music playing in the background added a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. What stood out was the careful water maintenance – minimal chlorine and sulfur smell, making the soaking truly relaxing. The different pool temperatures catered to all our preferences, and the large pool with the little cannon-like side was a hit with our boys. The real stars of the show were the waterslides – the fastest and longest in NZ, and they didn't disappoint! The rush of the "Kamikaze" slide and the excitement of the longest slide were beyond words. You can adjust the speed, if it gets too fast for you. We were trying to get it all from the slides, hence the speed fraction bruises here and there ;) but the bum-sliding challenge worth it (I won!!!) The only hiccup was the ice-cold shower, which felt more like a challenge, especially on a dark winter evening after enjoying the hot pools. But in a way, it added to the adventure! The bonus of having playgrounds, an aviary with peacocks, parrots, and doves, as well as free-range funky chickens, gave the place a unique charm. As a family with three boys, we had over five hours of non-stop fun. If you're looking for a great time, this hot spring pool is a definite winner. We're already planning our next visit!”
