   I’m making a formal complaint about one of your bouncers because what happened Saturday wasn’t just unprofessional — it was illegal. Your bald male bouncer on the door took my ID, claimed it looked fake, and then refused to return it. To be absolutely clear: bouncers in New Zealand have zero legal authority to confiscate anyone’s ID. Even if they suspect it’s fake, only police can seize it. A bouncer keeping someone’s ID is legally considered theft, and it puts both him and your venue at serious legal risk. He also completely ignored required protocol. Security staff are trained to verify uncertain IDs by taking a photo and sending it to their venue/security group chat for confirmation. He didn’t follow any of this — he just took my ID and acted like he had the right to. That’s a major breach of procedure and shows he is not fit to be in this role. And honestly, this isn’t the first time I’ve heard about issues with your bouncers. So many people talk about how rude, aggressive, and unnecessarily difficult they are to deal with. It’s like they get excitement out of being dicks to customers. I didn’t realise how bad it really was until I experienced it myself. Again, this complaint isn’t about being refused entry — it’s about your staff member stealing a legal ID, breaking protocol, and exposing your venue to serious legal consequences. That kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I genuinely believe he should be removed from the position. Someone who acts outside the law should not be representing your business. I expect this to be followed up seriously.

   Today marks four weeks in a row I haven’t been able to get into sin. This week me and my mate who was sober driving took our mate who was pissed out of his mind got in so we thought sweet we will all get in. But no after four weeks I have given up on sin and will always go to the bog as it is a better environment with better bouncers who are much more reasonable and can understand 2-3 drinks isn’t much unlike sin highly Disspointed in sin which was once a great place now bad memory to me and my mates
