Bed bugs!! Found a dead one in the clean sheets and evidence of them in the mattress seems. Even if they sort that out the kitchen was missing lots of utensils and pots. Elements on the stove were broken. It would have been very hard to cook a meal. The furniture and curtains were stained and broken. Not recommended
there was mysterious stains on the floor and the utensils were not clean. Also I observed what looked to be bed bugs. there were hairs in the bed sheets aswell (not mine). The lady who greeted us was very rude and kept yelling at us for no good reason. Would not recommend
Very tired motel. Probably over due for update. Chair cushions, couch etc past use by date. Bed clean . Safety issue for me. .No rail on high entry steps. I'm an Octo with a walking stick and found manoeuvering my small sized suitcase difficult out to the car. However the lady at desk was welcoming and kind when I arrived . Good parking . $130. Per night.
BED BUGS!!!!!!!! Stay away, this motel was horrific. Everything about it was disgusting. Dirty sponges in the sink. Bathroom not cleaned. Old food all over the stove top. Grime and mould all through the kitchen. Sheets dirty. All five of us got bed bugs. I don’t know how this place is allowed to remain open. It was an extremely traumatic experience.
It was cheap& clean room, had a great sleep in the bed. Sadly the only thing that was a massive let down was the shower had no pressure & was just a dribble. Great service I Had a lovely chat with the wonderful receptionist /housekeeper.
Stayed here on the 12th 13th February 2021 3 adults 1 child. Room was cluttered all furniture was old, double bed seemed to have been on a lean toilet seat was wiggly. Shower was grimy and needed a good scrub top and bottom, toilet brush was grey and dirty, fridge had a funny smell and freezer compartment had ice build up that was so bad nothing could fit inside. Clearly they dont move furniture to vacuum because underneath the couch we found rubbish a toilet paper roll and hand towel. T.v service kept cutting of so T.v to watch was impossible. Could hear the traffic and foot traffic too. Outside around the whole accamdation needed weeding trimming of trees and a mow pool area was yuck pool was slimy pool area had old broken furniture and needed a good weed. Now the couple that addressed us at reception on day 1 the lady was polite and nice the Male no customer service skills he was rude and very hard to understand. We will not be back. Best part was location
We wanting a swim, asked in the morning, and I thought they cleaned and got the pool ready for us, wrote a five star review, it obviously wasn't used for a long time. I was told wait another half an hour after 3 hours. Went back over an hour later ... started swimming and got kicked out . Was Told it was under maintenance. Good one mates. changing my review from 5 star. Why did you cleaning the pool for. Not me it seems. Don't expect a pool as advertised!
The room provided needed a good clean. The dirt that came off the door handles - omg. Luckily disinfectant wipes were packed so that we could do this ourselves. The room was really old, tired & dated. The toilet brush was so dirty, in between the fridge it was grimy & dirty. Kitchen utensils were 2x plates, 2x cereal bowls, 2x spoons, 1x crusty knife, 1x dirty spatula, 1x useless saucepan, 1x small frypan and 1x wooden chopping board which had to be scrubbed thoroughly due to the grease and hard dried food left on it. Whilst this place was the cheapest in the area and close to Water World, it was grimy & dirty. The only saving graces were a microwave & fridge that were clean on the inside, as well as clean linen which was sprayed just in case (we packed this with our own wipes). Not worth the money they charge. Lesson learnt.
Stayed in a two room unit and found it to be very poor. With missing lights, dangerous exposed power fittings, broken sidedrawers, and we found three cockroaches in one night. Not happy with the price we paid for it, and wouldn't recommend.
Classic, is a hint in the name. All the rooms have water damage on the ceilings and we didn't have suitable bowls. The door handle in the kitchen kept coming off. Got a cold staying here. The WiFi is barely usable, but the staff are friendly and respectable, ovens in the rooms were very handy and cutlery was good.
