   I was up from Christchurch, my sister took me here. I have never seen pork in sushi, so was intrigued to try. Initially I was looking for something without ginger or wasabi, so got chicken on rice, then turned the corner to go pay, and saw the sushi pieces to choose from, and found the pork. So many to choose from, a very good selection, and so tasty. What a great lunch it was.

   My Bento box with crumbed katsu chicken was thinly sliced chicken covered in thick crumb coating and the Teriyaki (whatever it was), was gristle covered in thick Teriyaki sauce. It was a rip and could only eat half of it.

   Got chicken skewer from here, the inside of the chicken wasn’t fully cooked and tasted like it was raw too. Took it back to the counter, one of the ladies claimed it was “red chicken” it’s just like that and rolled her eyes at me. Watch out guys

   We got two prepackaged sushi today as we were just passing through the area. We are vegan so we got the vegetarian sushi which was delicious and filling. Price not so bad.

   Absolute wonderful food and service. There was a young asian man there, I see him every Saturday. Always is kind, generous and helpful. I wish more retail workers were like him, had a postive attitude and was happy to help customers. Black pepper lamb was nice. Other workers weren't as happy to serve me and continued doing their own thing, young man came speeding to me immediately with a bright sound in his voice.

   Got a small plate, sweet and sour pork is okay, the deep fried calamari is below average (tastless), black pepper lamb is average. The best out of all is the noodles, colour is on a darker side, can taste a very good 'wok hei', i wouldn't mind a second round of the noodles. Overall the toppings are a bit on the small scale, surely they can pack a few more pieces on the plate without hurting their profit.
